What a true statement that is. When asked about how they keep themselves healthy, most people will not answer with "pamper yourself". However, pampering ourselves is actually superrr good for us!

We all know the terms "Fake it til you make it" or "Look good, Feel good." But do we ever take the time to think about what those simple phrases really mean? In essence, I believe they mean that we need to treat ourselves good above all else, and everything else will fall into place. Whether we make a DIY face mask with things from our fridge, or schlop on a deep conditioning hair treatment we spent $100 on, the result is still the same. The better YOU treat YOU, the better(much better) you end up feeling.

Tonight I spent some quality mother/daughter bonding time! And at the same time, got to mega
pamper myself along with my Momma! We dyed our hair together while listening to The Beatles. We put in conditioning hair treatments, as well as very refreshing and very fun peel off masks. We hung out and talked gossip. When it was all said and done with, we felt grrrreattt.

It truly does feel wonderful to spoil yourself every so often. It gives me so much more self-confidence, pride, and so much less insecurity when I get the chance to do so. And I was overjoyed to see my Mommy feel so happy and so much better!

Treat yourself, it's worth it!
