Dear Diary: Eating In An Upright Position Is Proving To Be Hard For Me

Today I tried to eat while sitting up and it really is so difficult. many things happen when I do try to eat in a normal upright position and one of those things is trying to keep the food in my mouth not to.spill out whilst I am chewing so I have to tilt my head up and it is straining me.

Add to it the difficulty in my breathing when I am in an upright position because I am more comfortable lying down than sitting up and it doesn't much give me the breathlessness issue. So eating while trying to gasp for air just ruins my appetite.

I am a fast eater so eating in an upright position makes my eating activity slow and again it does make my appetite affected. One thing is that my right hand is not good for eating with bare hands because the fingers are now crooked and points in the left side when I try to make a triangle with the rice plus the are so weak it is hard to tear foods up.

So it is just better for me to eat while lying down, I could spoon food in my mouth and they won't spill out much. I could eat a lot faster which is my habit but carefully chewing food so that I can assimilate it with my body.

It is still my hope that soon I can get normal with the way I eat and it is my target to get my mouth fixed particularly because Leontiasis had been so disruptive in the way I live my life and it is one of my lamentations that I am really living an awful nightmare.
