Dear Diary: I Am Waterlogged Again But I Can Still Breath Good

I am already feeling the effects of being waterlogged and that is having the "wet lung" condition and it affects my breathing and strength a bit. Fortunately I can still stand up, walk a bit and bathe myself and that is what is important for me.

The bad type of breathing is when you are coughing and you cannot sleep. The other thing is that even exhaling is as hard as inhaling if your lungs are already full of fluids.

last dialysis session was not good, I got in with only a very low weight gain with body fluids but was not taken with all the excess water from my body due to the fact that I just crashed my blood pressure. It just sucks when that happens and it is actually my worry because crashing my blood pressure means that my dialysis quality is affected.

I noticed that most of the patients in my dialysis center even though the are new couldn't even walk due to gain excess water in their bodies. So I am not the only one having this breathlessness issue but also my fellow patients. And I conclude that it is the fault of the nurses due to their inexperience.

So that is why i am just thinking about switching into peritoneal dialysis because it is a continuous type of dialysis and you will feel like normal everyday and excess fluid removal is constant. The only drawback was the susceptibility to get infections because of the permanent access in the abdomen.

But still I do not know if I can really get that kind of treatment because it requires a constant work of attaching and detaching the fluids that is used and draining it. Plus I do not know too if I can carry two liters of fluid in my belly constantly. But if God wills it for me I would try it and if it works well then I will be on it for the time being until I get more funds for a transplant if again that is feasible.
