My Dialysis Center Went Stricter Now By Not Allowing Patient's Relatives To Stay in The Waiting Area

I got notified again via text message by my dialysis center citing that patients are now not allowed to enter the waiting room once they arrived at the dialysis center. They will just patiently wait outside as well as the guardians and then from there once the nurses arrived will only at first temperature will be checked, upon entering the waiting room area the shoes or slippers would have to be taken off, clean socks too will have to be worn and then clean shoes/footwear will have to be worn from the waiting area to the dialysis treatment area.

But since I am on the wheelchair I just needed not to take my footwear off, I will just wear socks and my slippers prior in going which I just use when I go to the dialysis.

Now the guardians or relatives of the patients are not allowed anymore to stay in the waiting anymore because of the guidelines of the government of social distancing since the waiting area is just too small.

I Understand The Extra Restriction, It Is For Our Health's Safety

Now the relatives might just stay at the parking lot or inside their vehicles while waiting for their patients to finish the treatment. They are also not allowed to feed their patients so it just sucks when my mother cannot go in the treatment room anymore. I will just have to do it myself again. But maybe it will get changed again in the future.

Anyway eating at dialysis makes my blood pressure crash anyway but if I do not eat then I am missing out on enjoying my favorite food which I can only experience at dialysis. So it is a dilemma that I have to consider if I would want to risk in not completing my dialysis but enjoyed eating anyway or not eating but completing my session, my life had been made harder either way I so choose.

Anyway it makes sense for restricting the patients and their relatives regarding entering the treatment areas or waiting area because of the nature and situation of the dialysis patients as we belong to the high risk groups of society that is vulnerable in contracting the corona virus. I just hope that God would protect my parents more than me. May God helps us all.
