My Thoughts About My Dialysis Center Situation During This Pandemic

During the rainy season it seems that people gets sick with colds and flu, I do not know and I am not sure about the correlation but it might turn the pandemic here in my country to worsen.

I also have to worry about the other aspects of the rainy season like where my parents should stay when it is raining hard and I am inside the dialysis center and they are both inside the car with no airconditioning. It will surely be miserable for both of them, things like that comes into my thoughts. So for that reason I am also not thinking about myself but for others too.

Both my parents when I am inside the dialysis treatment area not mingling with other people or the guardians and caregivers of other patients especially like in the case of my other co-patients who had gotten ill about the CoViD which meant that possibly the guardians of these patients are already infected themselves.

So what about the later batches of patients that followed the infected ones? I just hope that they didn't get infected themselves since the corona virus is very transmissible disease and can jump from person to person through infected items and the airborne droplets that are coming from a person's mouth when they talk, cough, or sneeze. But patients always wears surgical mask so I guess that the mode of transmission will be those that are coming from their hands or clothes for that matter.

Now the nurses wears overall suits complete with masks, eye protection, and face shields. I was hearing their conversation yesterday when I am in the treatment area that they are forbidden to take off their suits during their duty as a renal nurse. It means that they will not pee until the end of their duty in 12 hours!

That means they should minimize drinking fluids and hold their pee since I think if you take off your suits you should not wear it back in. I couldn't get to put my head over what I have heard and that just means that my renal nurses could get sick because of that order from the hospital management.

That is why I didn't see any of them at when I was getting treated and most possibly they will just eat when they get home. This surely affected all of us in the dialysis center and nothing that I could only do but to hope that soon all of these pestilence against not only our health but in most aspects of our lives be over with the soonest possible time because of the invisible enemy Corona virus.
