Are You Sticking With Your New Years Resolutions?

January is drawing to a close, and the BOSU ball your mom got you for Christmas is just gathering dust. The gym membership has gone unused because the weather outside is frightful, and that holiday belly looks like it's gotten even bigger!

Are you going to let those New Years resolutions just fall by the wayside or are you going to get out there and sweat?

I knew that my routine needed a kickstart, I haven't worked out seriously since I was back in Vancouver, so I knew that I would need some motivation... and that came in the form of

CROSSFIT

Now I know that Crossfit, and it's legion of loyal followers can sometimes come across with a zealousness often reserved for cult members, but I have to say, if you already have some knowledge of lifting, and you need to jump into high gear, and really transform your body, they can help you do it.

I really liked the vibe at Black Sheep, here in Berlin, unpretentious, supportive, and as you can see by this sign outside their door, they are inclusive. Looking forward to sweating it out with these sheeples over the next few months.

I don't know exactly what 'Cross-fit' entails, but it seems to me that you can do it while sitting on a couch, so that's the exercise for me😄 I work to stay in shape and walk the dog, to keep the dog in shape. I've heard good things about these 'gyms' but I've not been in one since highschool.

I never make new years resolutions bc i’m more or less always working towards my various goals.

Cross fit is killer. Talk about shock your body fit.
