What is Polycystic Ovary Syndrome?

Thank you for you reply. This is the source where I got my information from about the 3 possible causes of PCOS:

Research is suggesting that the chemical Glyphosate found in GMOs is suppressing the conversion of androgens to estrogen by the enzyme aromatase in turn resulting in a spike of androgens.

"ENDOCRINE DISRUPTION: Glyphosate is an established endocrine disruptor and studies have shown it inhibits aromatase, a CYP enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogen"- http://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/roundup-the-nontoxic-chemical-that-may-be-destroying-our-health/

"effects of glyphosate may be the suppression of the activity of androgen-to-estrogen conversion by aromatase, a CYP enzyme (Gasnier et al., 2009)".-http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3945755/

Yes, you are right, thank you for pointing that out and I will edit that now. IGF-1 does stimulate the production of androgen.

I would like to say that I am not a doctor, but I do suffer from PCOS and I therefore conduct research to further understand PCOS in order to help myself.
