Many of us suffered from sudden headache with or without knowing why? And if we felt this ache all we simply have to do is to go to our med cabinet and grab some pain killer or medicine for our headache.

We routinely do it and we didn't noticed that we are already dependent to the medicine and it's not that good. Since, people nowadays want fast result to get rid away the pain. But what if we run out of stock of certain medicine what can we do about it?

Here I would like to share some of what I have read which it finds me interesting to let and to share it with the steemian's community.

Here is a few tips on how to get rid of headache effectively for a few minutes without any pill. A scientific way to get rid of this pain is called acupressure.

What is acupressure? Acupressure is a kind of massage, and it's effectiveness is confirmed by many scientific studies. By its own form of nature it is some kind of acupuncture and reflexotherapy, and don't required a good medical knowledge to perform.


How to do the acupressure?
First thing first, there is a certain point of our body to where we do the acupressure massage. And all you need is to find a comfortable and relaxing position. All it takes is a 30 sec to an average of 1 minute.

How to massage? You just have to massage the point lightly by pressing it on a circular motion. It will take away the pain while doing the pressing or 5-10 minutes after the massage.

There are 6 main points of our body to where acupressure be done.

  1. YinTang point
    The most effective in acupuncture point. The third eye or YinTang point. It is located at the center of the eyebrow where the canal of nose passes into the forehead. This point also is responsible for eye fatigue removal.

  2. Zan Zhu Point
    A symmetrical point which are located at the base of inner edge of your eyebrow. Pressing it on circular motion can also help to relieves runny nose and improves vision acuity.

  3. Ying Xiang Point
    This point is located at both sides of your nostril in line with the eyes. To locate it feel a dimple in the bottom of your checkbones. Massaging them can helps to ease sinusitis, headaches, toothache and relieved stress.

  4. Tian Zhu Point
    This point is located at the back of the head in the middle, between in the ear in the beginning of the spine. Pressing in this area can get rid of severe headaches and migraine, helps to relieve nasal congestion, pain in the eyes and ears.

  5. Shuai Go Points
    This located at 2-3 cm in the beginning in the hairline to the temple area. Feel a dimple in this area to find the point. And applying the pressure to this point relieves pain in temporal region and eye fatigue.

  6. He Gu Points
    This symmetrical point which can be found at the back of the hand between the thumb and forefinger. Giving pressure to this point will ease the pain of toothache, back pain, and tension to the neck muscle.
