This is my personal story of how I conquered kidney stones.
If you have ever suffered from a kidney stone attack, then you know how excruciatingly painful they can be. It has been purported that passing a kidney stone is similar to the pain experienced when a woman gives birth. Now, as a male, I cannot attest to how painful childbirth is, but what I can tell you is that passing a kidney stone is the most painful event I have ever experienced in my life.
Over the past 20 years, I have had five kidney stone attacks. The first one was the worse. Shortly after drinking a big glass of ice tea one hot summer afternoon, I began to get an ache in my left lower flank. At first I tried to ignore it, thinking I had a "stitch" in my side. However, within 30 minutes, my left side was aching terribly like someone was trying to pierce my kidney with a hot fire poker. I knew something was seriously wrong and I had to act quickly.
I contemplated whether to call the ambulance because I literally thought I was dying. I quickly decided I didn't have time to wait for the ambulance to arrive. The hospital was only 5 blocks away, so I hopped in the car and drove in the direction of the Emergency Room. I remember there was a decent amount of traffic and I was writhing in pain, scared I would lose control of the car and cause an accident. About a block away, the hospital came into view. I could see the Emergency Room entrance when I caught the red light. You know your in massive pain when your bargaining with Jesus to get the red light to change green. That was the longest signal stop of my life.
I arrived safely at the hospital and hobbled into the Emergency Room. When you report to the ER with severe abdominal pain, you typically don't wait. They bring you back right away to see the doctor. Immediately, the ER physician suspected a kidney stone and said I needed an Intravenous Pyelogram (IVP). Basically, an IVP is a huge injection of iodine-based contrast media that allows the kidneys, ureters and bladder to be visualized on x-ray. Up until that point, approximately 45 minutes in the ER, I was in severe agonizing pain. Somehow, by the grace of God, when that contrast media hit my system, the kidney stone passed from my left kidney through the left ureter and into the bladder. The pain immediately subsided.
If you've ever been through a painful experience like the one I've just described above, you'll do anything to never have to experience that kind of pain again. So 5 years later, when I began to experience my second kidney stone attack, I began to frantically search the Internet for a home remedy. I was so scared and desperate, I even pulled out my credit and paid $35 to a website for a kidney stone report that had 2 home remedies. Amazingly, the one I chose to try worked, and worked fairly quickly (within a few hours). The other one I've come to discover is not effective. The home remedy that calls for you to chug a six-pack of Coke Classic and the phosphoric acid in the Coke will dissolve away your kidney stone DOES NOT WORK. Don't even bother trying it. Try this instead. The following home remedy is so simple, very inexpensive and highly effective on small stones. It works like a charm!
Method 1 ~ Celery Seed Tea
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of celery seed, turn off the heat and allow it to steep for 10-15 minutes. Strain out the seeds and drink 1/2 cup of the celery tea every 30 minutes until you pass the stone. Celery Seed Tea has a strong diuretic effect on the kidneys and also causes the ureters to spasm, helping you to quickly pass the stone. For pain control while waiting to pass the stone, draw a hot bath and soak in the water, making sure your kidneys are submerged below the waterline.
The next home remedy is for larger kidney stones and is also effective at cleansing the kidneys and preventing stone formation. Typically, this home remedy begins to ease pain within a couple days and larger stones will break up and pass within 5-7 days, with little or no pain. I have personally used this remedy the last 3 times I had kidney stone attacks to effectively pass them with ZERO PAIN!
Method 2 ~ 100% Pure Chanca Piedra Extract.
The translation of Chanca Piedra literally means "stone breaker" and is a herbal extract produced from the Phyllanthus Niruri plant. I was introduced to this herbal extract from a relative who had been using it for several years, after undergoing kidney surgery to remove several large stones.
You start by taking 40-60 drops in a small amount of water or juice 3 times a day, either 30 minutes before meals or 2 hours after meals. Stones should break up and pass with little effort in a matter of days. Each bottle gives you about 30 doses and has a 3 year shelf life. If you don't have this already, get it and start using it or stash it away in the medicine chest in case of an emergency. You'll be happy you did!
There are many Chanca Piedra brands. The one pictured below is the brand I use (Blue OrganiX Kidney Stone Crusher). I've provided an Amazon link and yes, full disclosure, that is my Amazon Associate affiliate link. If you buy through that link, I make a very small commission which helps me keep producing quality content and is greatly appreciated. Whether you use my link or not, get this and USE IT! You won't be sorry.
