As we know, nutrition during pregnancy is so important for a healthy baby. You should implement a healthy program and should beware of consuming cigarette, alcohol, excessive caffeine etc. Because the harmful effects of them can cause deformations on your baby. You should consume foods that are rich in nutrients.Specialists say that grains are a good source of energy; fruits and vegetables are a good source of vitamins; meats, nuts and legumes are a good source of protein, folate and iron.I don't suggest you to eat fast food.Because you can cause your baby to be obese and your baby can exposure to atherosclerosis and diabetes.

As for gaining weight during pregnancy, many women are anxious about the weight gain during pregnancy. They are concerned because they think they won't be able to regain their normal size.Provided that the gained weight is between 25 to 35 pounds, it is totally normal and it shouldn't be of your concern. If the number of gain is below 25 or above 35, you can consult your doctor if you'd like to.

You can do healthy exercises to manage your weight. For example you can go walking and you can go swimming. You should beware of doing extreme sports. If you weren't doing activities like these before pregnancy, you should consult your doctor.

The last thing I want to say is never forget that you are responsible of not just you. When you do something, you must consider your baby because its life depends on you.

Nice post! Are you familiar with the Motherwell studies? I wrote an article about them and some follow-ups. Tl;dr: too much meat could have an adverse impact on the offspring when they're adults.
