health is wealth they say., making excess money without excess wealth can also be a serious problem to you. I'm writing on the health Benefits of watermelon as a way of preventing health challenges that has the potential to post serious health issues to man.
To some people eating fruit is is a habit while to others, it really doesn't matter expecially in regions where adequate information is not given.
Today i'm writing on one of the most predominant and mouth watery fruit in nigeria which i'm from. Apart from it's numerious benefits to health, it is also cheap due to constant availability at all seasons in almost all the states in nigeria.
At first look this juicy fruit may look as just a watery fiber filled ball but it's more than that. It has significant level of antioxidants, amino acids, lycopene and vitamins A, B6 and C. It also contain a modest amount of potassium, magnessium, low in sodium and is fat free.
All of these elements are very essential for human system optimal performance. Don't forget lycopene and other vital elements are available in high quantity only when watermelon is fully ripe.
HEALTH BENEFITS:
- Essential In Treating Kidney Disorder; the potassium content in watermelon is very helpful in cleaning the toxic impurities in the kidney. Moreso, it is needed in lowering of uric acid concentration in the blood which reduces the chances of kidney damage.
- Cancer Prevention; lycopene, a caroteniod phytonutrient compound has been linked to the Prevention of prostrate, lung, colon and breast cancer and watermelon has this element in sufficient amount. In other word, daily consumption of this fruit can go along way in cancer Prevention.
- Argenine content in watermelon is essential in curing erectile dyfunction and can boost libido in men therefore enhancing a better love life.
- It's ability to reduces both body temperature and blood pressure makes it an effective tool in the Prevention of heat stroke in very sunny afternoon doing dry season.
Moreover, consuming watermelon can help in preventing Diabetes, muscular degeneration etc.
