Sharing an insight into community

So I wanted to share some photos with you all, some of my favorites from the melting pot of people out here in one capacity or another.
Basically a pretty colorful cascade of flavors and folks from all over. I guess in a way I am trying to capture that vibration, to share it with the world. What exists and is possible, a place that really for the most part people are aiming to be their best, do their best, eat well, live well, love well.

It may be fair to say we are a bunch of hippies. Not such a big insult when you think about what that really means, free spirited, peace loving beings who want to live harmoniously. I mean we all have our story, why would you do four hours of yoga a day unless you really needed to. Unless you really love it.

Really a big part of why this is happening is a project called Vida authenica, https://www.vidaautentica.org/ I am very happy to consider the people who brought this project to life: my friends.

From all over the globe here working with locals to create organic produce. It is the central point for the community here. Quite away from social gatherings I grew up with down the pub in England (I enjoyed those days too mind).

Here the focus is people coming together to share the love of good clean real food. Everything from Cacao and maca, fresh fruits and veggies, kombucha, kimchi, tempeh, fresh pipas, tradional rice and beans and of course artistan hand made clothes and jewlery.

Music, art , dance, cooking, expression is a big part of it, and with that comes luckily authenticity.

Somehow out of all this we support each other, in some way, sharing moments, events, songs, laughs, meals.

It's a great place to capture people in the flow. (and non humans)

Beyond the fun deeper things are happening, on many levels, how to move forward with real sustainable biodynamic farming and what that means to us as humans in these strange times we live in. A return to reality in a way, co creating with the planet instead of trying to fight it or be better than it.

The beauty of it really is that it is already happening, it's not just some post on facebook showing us what we can be, but something that is happening and is tangible.

Enjoy the photos.

Some of the lovely ticas who help us get our veggies

And then there is always one @thearcanebear :)

My photos are a work in progress as always, they continue to improve in quality, but the subject matter is close to my heart and that is why I capture it and share it here.

And sorry if your photo isn't up! There are so many wonderful people involved it would take me a lifetime to put a photo of everyone, just know your part is appreciated, as is being here in Costa Rica. Maybe I will add more photos as time goes on... Jungle wifi is slooooow.
