The time to work is now!  When everyone else is taking a break, you are given a sliver of time where you can make gains.  Now, we are not competing against others, only ourselves, but damn it feels good when you finally catch up to the big dude at your gym.  On to the next mountain.  Remember that this principal works both ways, so when you take a break, others will gain on you.
