After feeling a bit fatigued, I decided to have a day off yesterday.

I had to be in the bar pretty earlier to get a place to watch the fight this morning, so I just finished my excercises a couple minutes ago.

Round 1 : 1 min 07.75 sec
Round 2 : 1 min 11.89 sec
Round 3 : 1 min 12.09 sec
Round 4 : 1 min 14.32 sec

I actually planned to get into week 6 today but I will be gone for 2 days and spend a lot of time in a bus, so I will jump into week 6 on wednsday.

For new readers I want to explain what I am actually doing here: The Wim Hof Method consists of 3 pillars

  • breathing : you breathe in very deeply and exhale. But you dont exhale all the air so you kind of "charge" yourself. You do 30-40 breathe cycles and then exhale all the air out in your lunge and withhold your breath as long as possible.

  • cold exposure: you start taking showers or jump into an ice bath and the lenght is increasing as you progress through the course

  • some physical excercise : mostly some Yoga but also push-ups. What is special about the push-ups is, that you do one breahting round before them and also exhale, so you do the push ups with an empty lung.

The pictures usually show Wim Hof himself.

Dies macht man 30-40 Atemrunden.

thanks a lot for the continuous support :-)

You are very welcome @flipstar :-)
Best greetings :-)

Before you started practicing BJJ did you do other martial arts ?

yes, I did muay thai for several years. But then stopped doing any kind of sport for 4 years or so and just recently got back into it.

Thats Nice ! So i am guessing you have spent many years in Thailand ! Where in Thailand do you like it the best ?

No, I was living in germany for the most part but traveled to thailand a couple of times to train.

For training phuket is imo the best place you can go.

Phuket is beautiful, I have been there for Vacation around 5 times. It's the perfect getaway when you live in China !

That is why so many chinese are here ;-)

Haha yea the number of chinese tourists really have increased a lot in Thailand. The first time I went to Thailand I went with my family and we went to KATA beach. I remember there being so many Swedish people. Some of the tailors there even could speak some Swedish with me. Last time I went there though it was a lot of Chinese as well

yes, there are a ton.

I live in the Tiger Muay Thai street, I dont know if you have heard of it.

Here you can find people from across the globe which is pretty cool but at the moment a lof of australians are here. Seems to be changing all the time :)

Everyone seemed to have watched the fight except me. When it's weekend I know you are not around haha.

And of all my posts this one you have missed. I want to know your opinion about this matter:

let me check it out :-)

Awesome! You are healthy wealthy and happy!

I am :-)

I hope you too!

I am doing my best man! Steem On!

Viel erfolg bei start in Woche 6!

Dankeschön

Pausen müssen auch sein. Der Körper braucht die Regeneration. Danke für die Inspiration.

Sehr gerne. Sowas motiviert mich ungemein weiter zu machen :-)

wow, that's so impressive, @flipstar! Was it hard to start doing cold exposure?

Yes and no.

The first couple of seconds were hard but then you get used to it.

But even after over 3 months I have days were I find it extremly hard to get started but always happy if I did it.

It must be hard to do

you get a bit used to it

Wait..so to do push ups with an emoty lungs is better...when i do push ups i inhale push up then exhale
I saw sonewhere that its better when your lungs are empty

yes, the most push ups I was able to do I did with an empty lung and the breath excercise before.

Ha!know i now what to do
Thank you
You really helped me

Keep it up . And best of luck

I can't believe this guy! He even climbed Mount Everest in only shorts! I gotta try that too and see what changes :) Do you feel any different?

Yes, but to be fair I had a lot of positive lifestyle changes also in the last couple of months.

So I cant tie all to his method.

But most of the time I feel very good, especially after the breathing.

If you havent I can only recomned giving it a try for a month or so.

how can u do these things man its amazing

practise!

If I can do it, everyone can do it and probably even better than me:-)
