You got that “Itis” huh?

Many of us refer to having “itis” after eating a heavy meal. We mean that the meal was so heavy that we cannot do much else physically but sit down or fall asleep. Our bodies feel so sluggish as it processes what we’ve eaten. Many of us are not content with our meal unless it puts us in a state of “itis”. We continue to eat until we reach this state. “Itis” also is an indication to us that we are full.

During my research on the benefits and impacts of specific foods I learned which foods create inflammation in the body. I also, learned about various health condition inflammation can cause: Arthritis, colonitis, gastritis, cellulitis, pancreatitis, and the like. In fact, the word “itis” is a suffix meaning inflammation of. It then dawned on me that the “itis” we speak of after eating a heavy meal is in fact a state of inflammation. Our digestive system becomes inflamed after intaking all of the chemical-hormone-unnecessary antibiotic induced-laden foods we eat and then it begins to work overtime to try it’s best to flush out the toxic waste we’ve put in it. This is why we immediately become sluggish after eating heavy meals. Ninety percent of us are consuming genetically modified processed foods filled with pesticides and meats from animals forced to eat processed foods that are not what their normal diet consist of. To make matters worst, many animals are eating processed meal while standing next to other dead animals. So we can imagine all that we are being exposed to when we consumes these animals and why our bodies go into a state of “itis”.

If you’ve ever eaten clean meats, from grass-fed and pasture-raised animals, the first thing you’ll notice is that you’re not sluggish after eating. In fact, you’ll feel full and satisfied with energy to continue your day. We must come away for the acceptance and desire for the state of “itis” and see it for what it truly is, inflammation! We must also make a conscious effort to consume more whole grains, seasonal fruits, vegetables, and clean meats to prevent the various diseases that eating processed and chemical laden foods cause. We must never reach a state of “itis” again.

You got that “itis”? No sir, No ma’am, I do not!
