Transhuman Tees Makes Its Third Official Donation to LifeSpan.io
Considering that Transhuman Tees is only just about a year old, I'm very proud of that!
Part of the reason I created Transhuman Tees (my first eCommerce store) was to make it altruistic in some way.
So, I decided that $2 from every item sold would go towards good causes.
It was originally $5, but this made things expensive!
One of the main beneficiaries of that policy has been LifeSpan.io and the campaigns they run there.

This time it was a $10 donation to Age Meter, their goal is as follows:
A self administered functional age test to validate interventions that aim to slow or reverse the aging process is greatly needed.
Our goal is to develop a low-cost, modular touch screen device for integrating multiple cognitive & biometric assessment technologies. This can be used to gather, analyze, and compare data in aging research scientific studies, and thereby increase the pace of longevity research.

Who Are LifeSpan.io?
LifeSpan is "crowdfunding the cure for aging".
Think KickStarter, but rather than getting a gadget or some such, you get to know you're helping a later version of yourself live a longer and healthier life.
Why Title This Post "Official"?
When I made my first donation, I didn't realize you could create an account.
There was also a second donation made to the CellAge campaign via a forum.
So 3 "official" donations, but 5 in total.
