How To Take Care of Your Meat Sack Before Mercury Detox

in health •  7 years ago

Detoxing mercury from your system is a serious but extremely important process that will greatly improve your health.

As we mentioned in our last post, there are a LOT of protocols out there that you could follow for detoxing. We will cover natural programs as we continue this series (for more articles, please see our summary post), but it is important for you to do your own research to find what works for your unique body.

No matter which protocol you focus on for the removal of mercury, either natural or chemical based, there are a few basics to incorporate into your life that can greatly improve health (even without existing mercury issues), and aid in the detox process.

Here are the basics to health, in no particular order:

Diet

Most people believe that one diet is better than another. In actuality, it has been shown that no two people can have the exact same diet with the same results. There are a few solid practices though that do benefit everyone! The more fresh raw fruits and veggies you eat, the better. The food pyramid was designed by megacorp lobbyists and has been shown not to be a healthy guideline for diet. If the majority of your food consumption during the day is fruits and veggies, preferably ones not covered by toxic chemicals or grown with GMO's, your health will be overall better.

How will this help when detoxing? Eating the most natural food possible is the easiest on your digestive system. When your body is digesting food it take priority over healing and many other processes. Also if you are primarily eating food grown without toxins (organic or homegrown) then instead of adding more toxins for your body to have to clean out, you are giving it a chance to rest and work on the toxins you already have. Which brings us right to the next point...

Fasting

Fasting has been one of most ancient and respected health practices. It reduces blood pressure, lowers cholesterol, and "reboots" the immune system. Some people also do it for religious reasons. In regard to detox though, it helps relieve the stress of digestion. As mentioned under the diet section, when your body doesn't have to focus on digesting food, it can get much more accomplished! Some health professionals suggest to not eat up to 4 hours before you go to sleep, since your body will prioritize digestion over deep REM sleep.

There are a lot of different types of fasts, and depending on your current state of health one might work well for you while another doesn't work at all. Do plenty of research on fasting before you think about starting one, and then have a plan in place!

Rest

The importance of proper rest cannot be overstated. Sleep is the period during which your body naturally recharges, detoxes, and repairs itself, and it is vital to get appropriate amounts of high quality sleep!

The amount of sleep you need depends upon your lifestyle; a professional athlete needs more rest than someone with a desk job. If you are waking up tired, you need more sleep! Make it a priority to get an appropriate amount for your body each day. Improved sleep quality can greatly improve your health and wellness; consider making your sleeping space as dark and quiet as possible.

Deep Breathing

Many people think just the normal breathing our bodies do can be considered deep breathing, but that is not the case. Our breath will align with whatever else is happening in our body or around us. Many people who are stressed or sick actually take lots of shallow short breaths. Intentional, daily deep breathing has many benefits you probably never noticed before.

Deep breathing has been known to increase the effectiveness of the lymphatic system, which goes though its own detoxing process when it is working properly. It also increases oxygen flow to the body, and thus other organs. Deep breathing has been shown to alleviate stress as well. Deep exhalations eliminate toxins. Also, if you have an interest in learning meditation, many people start by focusing on their body's connection to deep natural breaths.

Exercise

Slip on that spandex and haul your butt into the gym for 4 - 5 hours a day!

LOL, just kidding!

It is kind of upsetting that society now only things of exercise bikes, bench presses, and rowing machines when they hear the word exercise.

Walk somewhere! Walking is exercise, just that motion of flowing and your arms swinging also activates your lymphatic systems ability to detox.

Start a garden; planting your own food outside is not only beneficial to your health for what you eat, but working outside in the dirt for planting, weeding, harvesting is great exercise for the body!

Build something; need more storage on your property? Use something sustainable to erect a structure that suits your needs. Most people now own way more than they need and extra storage space is always a great commodity. Get outside and put something together; not only does it help you learn a new skill, but it is a wonderful workout! You can find just about anything on Steemit or YouTube these days if you don't know how to do something.

Mental Posture

Imagine if we all had the pure state of being as a child...

People who have studied health for a long time find there is a distinct connection between mind and body. So going into anything with the wrong attitude or energetic mindset will not help you accomplish your goal. If you want to truly detox bad things from your body, then be aware that negative thoughts are also toxic.

If you do not want to clear toxins, which as odd as that sounds, then you won't be able to. Just like if you are trying to give up a vice, like smoking, if you don't really want to quit smoking then you won't succeed. You may be able to stop for awhile but ultimately you will go back to it. Everything needs a similar positive mindset: knowing that you have already succeeded before you even begin.

Hydrate

Saving the best for last… Hydration is not only crucial for a healthy life, but proper hydration is essential for smooth detoxification! Getting the proper amount of clean water into your system each day is a great goal for hydration.

This seems to be a really hot topic; there is distilled water, filtered water, reverse osmosis water, water machines, spring water, bottled water, etc. Our suggestion is to research! Do not take anyone's word for it that any type of water is the best. Do some real research as to what each of those types of water are, where they come from, what the ideal structure of water is, etc.

Proper hydration allows the body to eliminate well, amongst other things. One of the hardest parts of detoxing is getting rid of the waste your body is trying to eliminate. There are only a few detox pathways in the body; breath, skin, kidneys, liver, excrement. Since so many molecules in the body contain water it helps everything function better when hydrated.

Adding any of these steps to your daily life will help improve your health. Adding all these steps would get you a great head start to serious detoxing, especially of such poisons as heavy metals.

We hope this will inspire you to do additional research and work towards the best possible health for yourself!

May it be of great benefit to many!!

I started breathing easier after reading about deep breathing. Sometimes I like to cleanse from noise too. I make my kids turn off the tv and the tablets, and I have them be more quiet than not. It's easier to breathe sometimes when things are quiet.

It's a lot easier to tune into yourself & body without distractions, yes. Practicing deep breathing is so valuable because you can retrain yourself to be taking more meaningful breaths even when chaos surrounds you! And deeper breathing obviously leads to improved health, less stress, and more mental and emotional clarity. Enjoying a deep breath with you, @metzli!

Yeah I am also between them " Many people think just the normal breathing our bodies do can be considered deep breathing, but that is not the case. Our breath will align with whatever else is happening in our body or around us. Many people who are stressed or sick actually take lots of shallow short breaths. Intentional, daily deep breathing has many benefits you probably never noticed before."

Yeah I have learn a lot from you thanks for this great post. really appreciated.

Great! A deep, conscious breath can make any situation BETTER - it's like a miracle reset button!! And it's always available and FREE! Deep breathing can truly change your life.

What is the best time for deep breathing?? Mostly people say that morning time is the best time. I agree but whats about other day times?? I also love to do deep breathing after rain because that air I feel so fresh. Am I right??

Any time is a good time for a deep breath! But its especially great before going to sleep as it helps relax you and get a nice deep sleep.

Also any time you are stressed. Very good for relieving stress.

Ohh that's sound great too. thanks for helping me.

Your welcome ;-)>

Surprised not to see any mention of writing down goals, saying self affirmations, or practicing mantras to get through fits of hunger during a fast. All things that help keep you focused and prepared for an intense detox regiment.

Of course there are volumes that can be written about fasting alone, or any one of these basics. There are many tools available for maintaining a great mental posture for success including the suggestions you make as well as yoga, meditation, visualization, leaving notes on mirrors, etc.

We have lots of experience & success with fasting and can go much deeper into it if the community would like to learn more about it.
