Friday Focus: Making milk!

in health •  6 years ago

Following on from Tuesdays post, I have a great recipe for making your own dairy and soy free milk at home...without any of the waste some recipes include.

*You need about 60g of cashews (I buy a large bag from wholesale) and soak them in some water for a couple hours.
*drain and rinse them and add to a blender with 3 cups of water and a pinch of salt
*blend on high until it goes really creamy 😋

I personally love adding a splash of vanilla and a sprinkle of cinnamon for taste! Some people add a date for sweetness.

I’d love for you to try this recipe out.
