Following on from Tuesdays post, I have a great recipe for making your own dairy and soy free milk at home...without any of the waste some recipes include.
So one of the best alternatives I’ve found for both taste and ease of making is Cashew Milk. I found this really effective for me because it doesn't require any straining that other milks (such as almond or oat milk) require.
*You need about 60g of cashews (I buy a large bag from wholesale) and soak them in some water for a couple hours.
*drain and rinse them and add to a blender with 3 cups of water and a pinch of salt
*blend on high until it goes really creamy 😋
I personally love adding a splash of vanilla and a sprinkle of cinnamon for taste! Some people add a date for sweetness.
I’d love for you to try this recipe out.
Let me know in the comments how you get on!🥛
