Considering the evolving trends and mindsets of white skin showcasing beauty. it is not an unknown fact that a lot of people in our society today, women to be precise put in a lot of efforts to look lighter in complexion and these acts have led so many into using a lot of harmful beauty products that not only damage their skin but also causes certain internal damages most of them know nothing about.
Referring to an article I made a few weeks ago on the same subject matter A LETTER TO ALL AFRICAN WOMEN :- EMBRACING YOUR AFRICAN SKIN. .A lot of questions that are being asked by African women on the issue of skin whitening and the safest methods.
There are indeed safe methods of skin lightening and Glutathione might just be the answer to these questions.
After a biochemistry lecture on antioxidants and their importance there was a mention of Glutathione and its sole role in skin whitening and this had me wondering, the evolution and studies of scientists are leaving great impact on the world at large.

Glutathione is an antioxidant and whitens the skin by binding to the enzyme Tyrosinase that is involved in the metabolic pathway that produces melanin. The pigment that gives color to the skin. It does this by the sole action of reducing free radicals in the body that aid melanin production.
Glutathione can be found in natural sources like oranges, leafy vegetables, walnuts, fresh fruits and can also be taken orally or through application of topically creams with it in content.

Aside from skin lightening there also quite a few side benefits of this compound. topical application aids removal of scars ( acne scars ) and also erase sun burns and freckles.

Although research hasn't verified side effects of its long term use, it is quite certain that topical use can cause no internal damage as glutathione creams cannot penetrate deeper tissues and enter into the blood stream. Oral use of glutathione by the way have quite a few set backs like rash appearances and risk of infections.

SIDE EFFECTS OF GLUTATHIONE.

Improved immune function.
Elimination of most toxins and carcinogens.
Correct gene expression
Improved mental focus and many more.

Nice post regarding glutathione. Seems like ladies will jump to grab this when they will come to know about its benefits.

By the way, I think there is a little mistake. You have written "side effects" of glutathione and mentioned the good aspect of it. Usually, side effects mean undesirable effect. Am I correct? #air-clinic

Usually yes, but I do not think all side effects are bad
