Many of us here the word "sweet" in sweet potato and automatically think of sugar. Well that is not true. Maybe this has to due with the duality and paradox of life, yin and yang etc. But it seems kind of counter intuitive to eat something that has the word "sweet" in it, especially with all the talk today of diabetes and insulin resistance.
Well I am here to share with you the paradox of life.
It is a known fact that sweet potatoes are in fact one of the healthiest tubers you can eat. In fact the irony lies in the fact that it's, let us all it 'twin brother', white potato is actually the unhealthy one.
Below I will share with you the benefits of the sweet potato and let you decide for yourself whether this should be something to incorporate into your daily diet or not.
