It may sound trivial, but this one problem is very annoying your daily activities, especially if you are an active and often meet with many people every day, on campus, at school, in the office, even at home. Feet that smells unpleasant will lower your confidence and sometimes make you embarrassed if you have to be near other people. Don't worry, I will help you.
Today, I will share tips on how to cope with and eliminate unpleasant foot odor.
First of all I will discuss about why the smell of the foot becomes unpleasant, the cause is :
- Excessive Sweating
- Bacteria
- The use of socks and closed footwear throughout the day
- Metabolic Syndrome
- Treatment
- Food
- Hormone Changes
Ways and materials that can be used to overcome stinky feet :
- Baking Soda
Steps : Take 1 teaspoon of baking soda, mix with a few drops of water, then apply on feet evenly, massage on feet for 10 minutes afterwards rinse with clean water.
You also can sprinkle baking soda on the shoe to remove the smell, let stand for a night and clean it in the morning.
- Tea
Steps : Soak the bag or tea powder (you can use any tea, either black tea or green tea) in a bucket or basin that contains warm water for 10 minutes, put your feet in a tea bath and sit back for a few minutes.
- Apple Vinegar
Steps : Pour 3 tablespoons of apple vinegar and 4 glasses of warm water on a bucket or basin you used to soak your feet, soak your feet for 15 minutes, then dry and rub your feet with a moisturizer.
- Epsom Salt
Steps : Mix 3 tablespoons of Epsom salt or if not available you can replace them with Kosher salt with 3 glasses of warm water, use the salt water mixture to soak and wash your feet. Do this treatment routinely every night after you finish the activities all day.
- Lavender Oil
Steps : Dissolve a few drops of lavender oil into a bucket or basin filled with warm water, then wash and soak your feet for 15 minutes, then dry and massage using lavender oil to keep the feet smooth and smell nice.
- Ginger
Steps : Blend 1 segment of ginger and wrap it with a cloth, then insert the package of ginger-filled cloth into warm water then use to soak your feet for 10 to 15 minutes. You also can apply ginger that has been smoothed directly on your feet, let stand for 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
- Clove
Steps : Boil some cloves in a pot of fresh water until warm, use the water of the clove to soak your feet for 10 to 15 minutes, then clean and dry with a towel.
- Coconut oil
Steps : Apply a warmed coconut oil on the feet and massage for 10 to 15 minutes, let it dry and oil seep on the skin. Do this treatment every day before you sleep at night.
