Cancer is recognized worldwide to be a major health disease affecting millions of people each year. More than 3 million people in the United States alone get cancer each year, and as of 2012, a total of 1,562,340 deaths from cancer were projected to occur in the United States yearly.
That's really deadly.
One of the most interesting fact about dealing and fighting with cancer naturally as opposed to the conventional way is the fact that there are countless ways to go about doing it.

Consumption of gardenia fruit directly inhibits a mitochondrial protein known as UCP2. This protein acts as a protector of cancer cells, shielding them from oxidative stress by inhibiting mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation. Put simply, gardenia fruit is potently anti-tumoral while exhibiting selective toxicity only against malignant cells.
- Apples
Procyanidins, found in apples, can induce apoptosis, or natural death, in cancer cells. Apple peel also contains compounds called triterpenoids that are highly effective in stopping the growth of cancer cells, especially those diagnosed with:
Liver
Colon
Breast cancer.
This is primarily why it is highly advised to eat the skin of apples after they are washed thoroughly
- Leafy Green Vegetables
Leafy greens are the cornerstone of any healthy diet since they’re exceptionally rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and enzymes, yet very low in calories, fats, sodium and other toxins. Leafy greens of all kinds — nutritious spinach, kale, collard greens, romaine, arugula salad, watercress, etc. — are rich in antioxidants known to combat cancer, including vitamin C and beta-carotene (a type of vitamin A).
Fruits offer a lot of nutritional gains to the human body in the form of substances such as Vitamin C, phenols, fiber, folic acid, and antioxidants.
