New Year, new look, new me !! MY COMEBACK ON STEEMIT (The story of my fight with all the suffering)!!

in health •  7 years ago  (edited)

It's been more then a month since I wrote anything and Oh God what's happening to the steem prices while I have been away !! I missed the SBD pumps, but if the new year is lucky, I might enjoy the steem pumps :D :D.

A lot happened in my life as well in the last month of 2017. As you all know I wasn't well, but if someone doesn't then I will repeat it here. I told you guys that I have Hiatus Hernia and so I will be away for a while but what happened next is weird !! The medicines were not helping me. I was still in pain and couldn't find any improvement in my health so I went to another doctor. That gynecologist told me that Hernia do not cause any pain !!! She didn't listen much and shooed me away after giving me medicines to kill stomach worms and parasites.

I was relieved that it's nothing major but alas, THE PAIN GOT WORSE ! I was angry on the lady gynecologist and so we went to another doctor !! One thing I have realized about the Indian doctors is that they don't know shit. Nothing was coming in my reports and so the doctors were clueless !!The next doctor I went to listened to my symptoms and guessed that it was NOTHING BUT GAS, and that is why it wasn't coming in my reports !! But gas medicines also could not help me either.

So every week, I was taking treatment for a new disease without any relief. Then I had to see another doctor because the previous ones could not help me. I went to a doctor who even treated 18 years old stomach related diseases quite successfully. But he too, saw the reports, asked me to do some more tests, could not find anything and gave me some medicines just in case if i had any neurological problem. I knew it wasn't any problem in my nerves so I didn't take the medicines recommended by him.

Anyway, then my story took a twist !!! I went to an ayurvedic doctor who didn't even see any reports of mine. He just pressed the nerve of my hand and spoke all of a sudden that I have STOMACH ULCER right below my food pipe. That is where I had the pain ! I don't have any idea why it didn't come in any report and why no allopathic stomach specialist couldn't even guess it from my symptoms ? Why do they even exist !!!

So now, the good news is that I am not in pain from 10 days after switching to ayurveda. (Long live Ayurveda). I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything except Semolina boiled in water (aka sooji ka cheera) for 10 days. It was so hard for such a foody girl like me :(. But now there is a little relief, I can take chapatis with vegetable only during the day. The medicines will continue for a month. After that also I can eat HEALTHY FOODS ONLY for a few months. There is no place for Junk food for atleast 3 more months :( . Man, I am dying to eat pizzas and eggrolls and so much more !!! Hehehe :P

But I am glad I am out of pain. Now all you guys who are in stress due to any damn reason, just feel happy if your body is still supporting you. I am craving to have a health like you all. God made me realize the phrase "HEALTH IS WEALTH". You have no idea how rich you all are already !! I was never so grateful for food as I was after he allowed me to eat things except Semolina boiled in water even if its once a day. I am going to keep my health on the first priority whole my life!!

Coming back to steemit feels wonderful. I ain't sure if I would be able to write daily again because my back still pains if I sit too long and I got quite weak because of not eating much but I will write whenever seems possible.

New year seems to bring me a very good luck. I am feeling better and steem prices are making me feel awesome. :D :P Here is my new look of the year. I got a haircut because I couldn't manage with my hair as I was always frustrated and irritated due to the pain. My hair were always coming in my way and irritating me more. I got too weak to brush them. Yes, I was too weak that I couldn't even stand. But that time is over :D :D. I literally feel that I took a rebirth and I am given a second chance by the lord. Thank you everyone for your blessings, support and not forgetting me. Let's enjoy steemit together again. Hurray !!!

I read thoroughly your post and i also not too much believing in allopathic doctors treatment and their test at all. Maximum of them only know what they learn in book and practical training during MBBS or higher education.
It's good to knew that now you feel better. Looking beautiful with new haircut (old one i don't knew). Happy steeming...

Hahaha. You can check my old hairstyle in the previous pictures! I had really long hair 😅.

And yes, they dont have any experience! Only theoretical knowledge. I support ayurveda !! 💪🏻

Welcome back girl

I was thinking that you should have tried Ayurveda before reaching the part where you mentioned it .... stay safe stay healthy

Thanks Bob. I wish I could do something to promote ayurveda. These allopathic doctors are taking so much advantage of a sick innocent helpess person. 😞 I am surely gonna promote ayurvedic medicines someway.
Thanks :)
You too stay healthy ☺️

Good return and good luck

Welcome back @himshweta ! Take care lol

Thank you Vishal :)

Welcome back @himshweta. I am really glad to see you back in steemit. 2017 on my part was also a suckfest. Let's kick ass this year.

Welcome back and thank God for quick healing.

I was sick from 2-3 months! And it will take a month more. But i am still grateful that its quicker then other people. Thank you :)

I loved the saying you added " Health Is Wealth !" this so true on so many levels !! Thanks so much for sharing your story with us @himshweta , and best of luck for a speedy recovery ! 👌👍✌💕😀

Thank you Karen. I hope others take learning from my sufferings. :)

Glad you're feeling better!

Here's to a full recovery. Cheers!

Thanks hun’. I am so grateful to see concerned people in my comments :)

it good to see that you finally found the main reason of your stomach pain and i also personally prefer ayurvedic treatment because it really fix the problem almost every time. :) please take some rest and get well soon dear.

Thanks shiva ☺️☺️. I will get well soon coz i have to meet you next week 😁😁

yup that's true ;)

thanks for sharing such an inspiring story, i have never heard of an Ayurveda before, i guess i have to go look up what that means, i love your positive attitude, keep that up, i also love what u said about not taking ones health for granted, u are right, we often do this cos we all think we are supermen .... love the new haircut too ... you look HOT! ;) ..... a big thumbs up from me :)

Oh! Ayurveda is old indian way of treating diseases. Their medicines do not have any side effect, and their treatment is natural. Ayurveda takes more time to heal but it cures the root cause whereas alopathy only stops the disease but doesn’t cure it.

You are right. We think nothing will happen to us and we keep on ignoring our body until one day when we regret it so very much.

Thank you. I also love this haircut. So easy to wash and brush them now 😅. Thank you for your vote 😉

Welcome back my sweetie. Missed u a lot. Look forward to great times again with you. Have a blessed and healthy 2018 my friend. I am sure this has made you more stronger from within now and u can face any challenges in life with ease. Regards Nainaz.
#thealliance

It actually taught me a lot. I used to spend so much time on work that I used to forget to eat at time. I am never going to do that again !! Thanks dear. :) I see you are 62 now. Congratulations :D :D

OMG!!! I didn't knew you was in such a pain. Well you are lucky to be cured by Ayurveda. Ayurveda is great. I sometimes do not take western medicine for any disease because they really makes it worse. The doctors knows only a little and gives us all the medicines they've got for stomach aches. And there are also side effects of them.
Anyway it's great that you are back :D
Happy New Year and keep Steeming :D

Yes I am never going to allopathic doctors again 😒.
And thank you 😃. Happy new year to u as well 😁

Nice post.I actually got it right

Good to hear, that you feel better. As I read the first paragraphs of your post I though, why doesn't she try ayurvedic treatment, because I am following an ayurvedic education right now. And there is so much valuable, health providing content in these old vedic texts and practices.
The I read further and saw you already do. And it helps you as I noticed!
So good to hear that you're feeling better!
Long life, and steem on!

Welcome back @himshweta, ayurvedic rocks ;)

good man

Get well soon @himshweta

Trying my best dear. Thanks a lot. :)

Good to see you back on the blockchain again, m'dear :)

I hadn't any idea of what you'd been going through when you left, as I had myself been off Steemit for a while, but I'm relieved to know that your seemingly endless plight is drawing to a close :D

From the sound of things, it seems like you've all but lost faith in allopathy, in the face of our own land's natural medicinal practices and remedies. Mum had always expressed as little faith as possible in the men and women in white coats, and more in those that understood the values of the soil. She loved the natural way. Guess that rubbed off on me as time passed, and a good thing too.

And yeah, as you're no doubt aware, you gotta keep a close eye on what you eat, so I won't go too deeply into that, but one thing I would recommend (provided your newfound ayurvedic friend agrees with it, of course), is to take a teaspoon of Dabur Chavanprash every morning about thirty minutes or so before breakfast. You can get it in most large grocery stores. The stuff is like a natural body-health booster. Whenever my immune system weakens (usually as a result of my tomfoolery with regards to not maintaining proper sleep patterns), this stuff not only builds it back up during the day, but also gets me through it while providing this thin but effective layer of protection against the elements. It's incredibly useful, and I find great vitality in it. And so might you.

Just a suggestion anyway :P

And may I just say how well you wear that very good-looking jacket with that hair...the new look's fab :D

So anyway, to conclude...good to have you back on Steemit, and hope you stay on the path to recovery as you no doubt will that of Ayurveda, and take care of yourself :)

Cheers :D

Thanks Pranav !! I got sick again though after switching back to normal food. Seems like i will have to fight for a little longer. I will ask about chavanprash from my ayurvedic doctor. Thanks a lot :)

Oh dear :(

Is it as bad as before, or at least a little more tolerable now?
Take care, hope you get well again soon, and this time take no chances till you're well past the risks.

No not that bad. It will take time until i can eat normal food. I will get better, but yes, very slowly.

Welcome back. How are you doing?

Thank you. You might know how am i doing if you read the post. :p

Yup. But any further improvements in your health?

good luck and get well soon :)

nice

<3 <3 <3 <3 again welcome. I can feel your pain. I was suffering from fever before Deepawali festival. I was feeling that m about to die.

Have a good day! God bless youh.....

thanks :D

Welcome back and happy steeming!

Thank you dear :D

Bad food habits and life style are the main cause of most the diseases. We can live a healthy life if we follow nature.
Ayurveda is not about just taking medicines it is also about how to live healthy life by Pathya ahar (पथ्य आहार) or wholesome diet.

Thats true. Thanks

Welcome back dear, itz good to hear the good news I have experience of what good health means, itz the best gift from nature and without good health nothing sooths you even if u sleep on luxurious mattresses and eat in plates of gold nothing is worth without good health

Welcome back @iamshweta
Although i am bit late to comment on this post but I can totally relate to your situation because i was in a similar situation. I joined #steemit couple of weeks back but it was only yesterday that was able to write my first blog post courtesy my health problem and the first thing i wrote was about unwanted delay in posting:

https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@happinesscoach/about-me

Coincidentally i too am taking #Ayurvedic medicine, perhaps my doctor call them just healthy supplements and not medicines since they are totally organic. Allopathic medicines are mostly ineffective in stomach related problems, these so called Dr's simply prescribe antibiotics which causes several side effects and fail to treat the root cause of the disease. Anyway its good to know that you are doing better now.
