Celebrate The Small Wins

"Hey guys. I hope you're doing great this week. I hope life is treating you as you want to be treated and that brings you all that you need and want. One thing that I want to share with you this week is a reminder that is been going on through my mind for the last few months that I really started basically to explore it and to really understand it. It's the power of gratitude and to tell you where does that come from is that, well, I've been in business for many years and obviously I'm close to, this year, in 2018, I'm going to turn 40 years old. It's always been a lingering thought in my head that I need to be more grateful, but I never actually put it in practice, so I did it in 2018, since the early, January 1st and even a little bit before that, but January 1st I decided okay, 2018, I'm going to be grateful at least once every single day of the year.

I put an alarm on my phone and my Apple Watch and every day at 5:55 PM the phone rings, the Apple Watch vibrates and it says on my watch, "I am grateful." Then, at that time, I take ... It only takes like 30 seconds or not even, to stop and say, "Okay, what am I grateful for today?" One of the thought that comes back, one of the grateful moment that comes back often for me is the opportunities that present themselves in my life. They've always been there, but since I connected more with the feeling of being grateful, then I can notice them and by noticing them, then I can appreciate them even more and obviously, seize them if I feel like they need to be seized or move on, move forward or whatever.

I wouldn't be able to be as aware of them if I wasn't doing the grateful bit at 5:55, which brought me to another level of realization is that as humans we tend not to celebrate enough. We need to come back to the celebration bit and celebrate every single small win. We tend to celebrate the big wins, and even then, sometimes it kind of goes under the radar, but it's a little bit easier for us to celebrate the big wins, like the big promotion or the marriage or this or that, even like the birthdays. We celebrate, like we make a big event to celebrate something that we worked for it or that we gave our all, but we kind of put on the side every single day little wins that had to happen for us to have the big win and celebrate at the end. Obviously, when we celebrate the small wins, when we celebrate every single day, then the small wins get bigger and bigger, we appreciate them more, and the big win at the end gets even more tangible because now we can remember every step of the way. It's really important to focus on those small wins and to celebrate them with gratitude to all with a daily refocus on our path and where we're going and why we're going there.

All these thoughts have been in my mind for a while and I started applying them on a daily basis. Like, when the watch vibrates at 5:55, I know that it's time for me to just take a couple of seconds or a minute or five minutes or whatever the time I need, to really focus on the present moment and to be grateful on what's happening right now in my life. Also, all the little wins either during the day or I can remember wins during the week or the month or bigger ones or small wins or tiny little wins. Like, the phone call that I was afraid to make and I did make or the person that I met or the email that got in or the moment the insight that I got, could be anything, but on to celebrate or to recognize those moments on a daily basis and to be grateful about them, that's a great way to celebrate more and to celebrate those mini or small moments that will lead eventually to the bigger wins.

Also, by practicing on a daily basis of celebrating as a whole idea, then we get better at it because if we ... Well, I don't know. I'm going to speak for myself, but to be honest, I want to be more happy, I want to be more grateful, I want to be more joyful. These are all interior elements, internal elements, that I have to create for myself. Like, I have to create the gratitude to be, feel more grateful. I have to create the joy to feel it inside me and I have to create the happiness, I have to create the strength, I have to create everything within me to feel them. By celebrating every day small wins, big wins, whatever, and by feeling grateful and by taking a precise moment during the day to come back to reflect and say, "Okay, today I can honestly say I'm happy, I'm joyful, I feel strong, I feel healthy, I feel grateful, I feel everything," but it has to come from me and it has to come from the inside, so I have to create it.

My tip of the week is to set a daily reminder, like a daily practice of feeling grateful, of celebrating, of being more mindful, more conscious, call it whatever you want, but just a reminder of saying, like today what are you grateful for? By revisiting your day or it could even be in the present moment, by being more conscious and more mindful and revisiting your day, and then identifying those small wins or those opportunities or those elements that you're grateful for, then you recognize them for what they are, you celebrate them. It could be like a quick corner smile or something, or a thought of love that you can send to certain people, or whatever, however you want to celebrate. As soon as you think about them, you set the reminders, when the reminders remind you, you can be grateful about them, you can be more conscious. Celebrate whatever the size of the win, but mostly we need to practice to celebrate the small wins to be able to really appreciate the big wins.

I hope this serves you. I hope that you're going to put this into practice right now, either on your cell phone or your intelligent watch or your computer or whatever, your calendar, written out on the calendar, your journal. There's so many ways that you can do that, but really the important thing is that to remind yourself on a daily basis to be more grateful and to celebrate more, so you will create that joy, that happiness, that strength, that gratefulness in you so you can really feel it and then transpire it and serve people in the overflow that you're feeling inside. I hope you're going to put this into practice and I hope this serves you. Again, if you know somebody that needs to hear this message, share abundantly. That's what the videos are there for. I wish you a great week, namaste, and next week I will come up with another great tip to wake up and ignite your life. Namaste."
