In a correct diet, we must consume the three groups of cereals, cereals, vegetables and fruits, and foodstuffs of animal origin and leguminous which provide most proteins; this is known as the dish of good eating.

The idea, is to guide us with the dish of good eating, to combine the bread with a food of animal origin and with some vegetables doing a sandwich. It is very versatile because there we already have the three groups and this will be a very complete dish.

It is also important to consume other cereals and vary our diet, because the vitamins that comes with bread are not the same as those from tortilla or the rice. A good diet should be varied and not just to include all or most nutrients, but also not to be bored with same food always.

The grain of wheat with which bread is made provides vitamins and very specific minerals and also has proteins, which in average is 15 percent, not as many as legumes, but it does contain them.

Nutritionists consider that nature is very wise, because bread has the vitamins that help us convert energy in our body, those of the B complex, which makes a "dumbbell" with carbohydrates. It mainly helps the nervous system by keeping it healthy and works on getting energy for the cells.

The bread also contains folic acid, which serves to process the energy; it is very important to consume it before and during pregnancy, because it helps prevent malformations in the nervous central system of babies.

As for minerals, it has magnesium phosphorus and calcium which help in bone formation; as such it is very good very good for children.

In addition, it provides some potassium, a mineral that works in the muscles and helps them to move properly.
