Another chapter from my book "My body is my experiments"
About how much you need to consume salt per day, millions of kilobytes are written. But most citizens eat this harmful seasoning as much as they are used to. And here there are questions. How much salt does science recommend per day?
It turns out that science or the World Health Organization recommend 1.5 to 6 grams per day. And, interestingly, I just forgot about 6 grams and for some reason decided that I need 10. I wanted to see in Google and all the time I forgot to do it.
I conducted an experiment that lasted a week, maybe 8 days. In the morning I poured into a small saltcellar 10 g of white poison, weighed on the electronic balance. It was a teaspoonful. And the food is salty in a plate, as much as wanted. And that's what happened. I thought that in a day all 10 grams would disappear. But no! These 10 grams or a teaspoon is left for 2 days and remain in the morning of the third day. And everything was normal and tasty.
Only when I sat down to write this post, I went to Google and asked how much salt is recommended. And it turned out that the WHO advises eating a day from one and a half to six grams salt - that's how much it the kidneys are excreted per day without straining.
I began to respect WHO. They were right - more than five grams per day just is not necessary. I did not need it, that's for sure.
Another thing I noticed is the diuretic effect of so much salt. Since I merged about a liter of water, which affected the appearance - swelling, which, it turns out, were gone a kilogram of water.
I like it. I will consume white poison that much. Any poison in minimal doses is a medicine. Now it will be necessary to deal with sugar-sweet poison. Follow my experiments)!
All things being equal, the kidney ought to secret any amount of salt taken in person day. In a case where the kidney is not functioning well, you will need to caution your salt intake to prevent fluid overload

Yes, there is a lot of salt for the kidneys - it's harmful. It is worth thinking about how to adhere to the norm - at 1.5 grams.
