I was feeling really gross today...

I usually don't eat out, but last night was a special gathering of close friends that are moving away within the next few weeks. We ordered Indian food, which was delicious, but I definitely paid the price for it today. I felt bloated and huge and disgusting, definitely not in the mood to workout or go for a run. But it's those days that it's extra important that I do. That's a telltale sign for me that my body is trying to deal with a toxic load that's a bit much for it and exercise is one of the best ways to get stuff out! Sweating and getting things moving, and then re-hydrating and feeding my body the good stuff that it wants always has me feeling better afterwards.

So, even though it was really challenging to get myself out there and the run itself was not all that enjoyable, I got it done and I'm definitely better off because of it. :)

What are your tricks for dealing with feeling yucky?

Stay tuned ;)

Nice work getting through the run Jackie. :)

Thanks @focus119! It was well worth the struggle. Haha. Are you a runner?

I used to run regularly, 10km up to a half marathon. Haven't run for about a year!
