We often read in self-help books or self-knowledge, that negatively charged or destructive thoughts affect health and can create illness. That taking care of our thoughts can have a direct impact on our health, at least.

This type of statements, so summarized (because today's publishing industry seems to reward commercial and summarized books, as opposed to detailed and more technical ones) are a reality. The problem is that the process is not explained by which people's thoughts become directly part of their health, creating diseases and pathologies or producing the opposite: Improvement and healing.

In today's post we are going to do what many of those documentaries and books do not do: Explain how it works and in what way the complete biochemical process operates by which our thoughts directly affect our health for good as well as for bad.

Because we believe that everything that is explained is easily understandable, while what is not explained becomes part of the belief. Believe it or not ... but it is not understood.

Let's see, then, in what way a simple thought (every thought we have) affects, physically and materially, our organism. The process is as enriching as it is interesting, so it is worth knowing it thoroughly because, thus, we will be getting to know ourselves. We will be knowing how our Perfect Machine operates: La Mente, and its extension:

The body.

THE PROCESS THAT FOLLOWS A THOUGHT TO BECOME A DISEASE (OR ALL OTHERWISE):

Thought is the activity of our brain. The thoughts, the emotions, how we feel, our personality, the way we respond to our life ... All this forms what we know as "Mind" or mental activity. But now we are interested in analyzing thought as the flow of electrical activity that develops in our brain, specifically, the communicative activity between neurons.

These interneuronal electrical connections are what give rise to what we know as thoughts (whether images, sounds, memories and memories, inspirations, ideas, etc ...).

Once the brain has created and persevered in a series of thoughts of a certain type (joyful, destructive, critical, humorous, inspirational ...) our hypothalamus (the great chemical laboratory of our body) is set in motion. Way to proceed? So simple to describe how complex it is in its operation: The hypothalamus starts to create hormones (peptides) directly linked to the thoughts that our brain is having. That is to say, that our hypothalamus will create chemical combinations of the same type as the thoughts that our brain is producing.

In this way, "emotions" appear. Our hypothalamus, by secreting and flooding the bloodstream with those hormones linked to our thoughts, makes our body create sensations. That is why we feel good or bad, happy or downcast, calm or nervous, in response to our thoughts. It is simply that our biochemical center (the hypothalamus) is creating chemical products as the most perfect laboratory imaginable, to "give form of sensations" to the thoughts that our brain is producing.

Our hypothalamus can create peptides that make us act quickly in situations of stress; Or it can secrete pleasurable hormones to numb us or to "reward us". In short, you can create a natural chemical substance for every mental process that is currently underway.

THE PROBLEM:

The problem is that, due to ignorance of these processes, people are not aware of the importance of "thinking correctly". This is not about defending a type of religious or moral thought, or anything like that. When we say "correct thinking" we mean, neither more nor less, than what is appropriate and beneficial for each one of us. No more no less.

As most people are unaware of the biochemical machinery that is put on the mark whenever our brain produces thoughts of one kind or another, people simply can not control how they feel, or what is much more important, they can not control the fact that many of those chemicals linked to destructive thoughts are literally poisoning your body on a daily basis and hence diseases arise.

But let's go in parts, since we said that we were going to explain the whole process and clearly:

If, for example, we allow the tensions of each day to keep us in a state of stress, or of alertness and distrust (activities that our brain will perform through the thoughts that it creates and that are not controlled), our hypothalamus will respond by segregating substances Chemicals that will place our organism in an "attack / flight" mode, which is the internal response to the danger and, therefore, in the face of a life or death situation.

That activity of the hypothalamus that is so important and decisive at specific moments of real danger becomes self-destructive when it is experienced very continuously and regularly. Stress, anxiety, haste, urgency, worry ... makes our brain create non-existent situations and, as a chemical response to it, our hypothalamus secretes the hormones corresponding to an attack or a situation of imminent danger to our life ... And well, for hours a day, and for days and days a year. That simply destroys our body due to biochemical intoxication, given that no organism can live permanently in a state of shock, danger or continuous stress / fear.

This is what leads to heart attacks, chest sores, gastrointestinal ulcers, high blood pressure, diabetes and a long list of pathologies that can be fatal. And everything begins ... In our uncontrolled thoughts that have given the wrong order to our hypothalamus to produce substances that, continuously segregated in our bloodstream, poison our body.

MORE PATHOLOGIES WITH ORIGIN IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THOUGHT (EXPLAINED):

Another accumulation of pathologies and diseases that our body suffers without being necessary and that are directly linked to the way we think are viral and bacteriological infections.

The procedure is similar to the previous one, but not identical: Under constant situations of stress, fear, anxiety and worry, as we have explained, our hormonal activity sets in motion defense / response processes. That is, it stresses muscles, prepares the body for potential escape, redirects blood circulation, paralyzes non-vital internal processes, to attend to a supposed threat that does not exist ... but that we are imagining.

What does all this? ... Well, neither more nor less, that our immune system is worn down, collapses and can not repel attacks that, in normal situations, is fighting and rejecting daily (when it works well, of course).

So we catch a flu, suffer allergies, take longer to heal or repel infections, etc ... etc ...

And everything starts with mental activity.

We must bear in mind, now that we know how the biochemistry of our brain works, that our thoughts are the "instructions" that our brain will give our hypothalamus so that it creates the hormones that correspond to that mental state. If we do not take care of our thoughts and mental processes, the biochemistry of our organism will simply follow a wrong pattern and will flood us with toxins that do not work in our favor, but weaken us, first emotionally and then organically.

Our organs stop working properly to do so in "alert" mode, if we live under situations of sustained stress, haste, worry and anxiety. With it the blood circulation fails, tension is triggered, nervous activity jumps through the air and diseases appear in organs such as the heart, the kidneys, the pancreas and a long list of other variables.

In the same way, those incorrect instructions that we have not been able to stop and revert in our thoughts affect our emotional system: Exhaustion, grief, anger, frustration, depression, bipolarism ... and a long list of other variables of a nervous and emotional nature. So dangerous or more than organic.

KNOWLEDGE IS THE SOLUTION

Now that we know how the process originates (thought - hypothalamus - hormones - body poisoning - destruction of the immune system) we can also reverse the process.

Thoughts of trust, love, security, tranquility, calm, peace, joy ... Begin a totally different sequence to the one that gives rise to diseases. In these other cases, our hypothalamus produces endorphins hormones, pleasant, anesthesia, calm, tranquility etc ... That contribute to our body can operate normally and not under threat.

Our immune system can do its work efficiently, the blood flow follows the optimal model and rhythm, our organs operate under perfect conditions.

And everything starts with the initial trigger: The thoughts: The key to the biochemistry of the human body.

Now, you know what is behind each emotion and why you feel how you feel in each moment.

Now you also know in what way and by what steps, a thought becomes a toxin and affects your body by making it sick, or quite the opposite: Healing it.

And, as long as you have something new and important, now you are the owner of making the right changes, because it is your quality of life and your health that are at stake.
