Why are you tired?

in health •  7 years ago

We all go through hard times in our lives, when we feel tired, extremely sensitive or out of energy.

These are totally normal fazes, especially when we’re facing a big change in our lives. When you’re feeling down, it’s extremely important to pay attention to your sould and body and to take care of yourself.

Your body can offer you a few signs when your mind is tired. Here are a few questions you should ask yourself when you’re feeling low.

Is you body sufficiently hidrated?

Water helps you eliminate toxins and negative feelings. If you’ve gone through a faze in which you had a lot to work, physically and mentally, your body will need more water then the usual, so make sure to offer it as much as it needs.

Have you eaten something nutritious in the last 3 hours?

When you go through a difficult time, you don’t really feel like eating. You settle to a quick snack, or you turn to fast food to keep your stomach full. Even if it will satisfy your hunger for a short period of time, on the long run it will lead to you being more tired, or even exhausted, because your body doesn’t receive enough nutrients.

Have you stopped for a moment just to…breathe?

Take a few seconds, close your eyes, relax your mind and inhale deeply. It will help you relax. If you feel any resistance while doing this, keep practicing.

You’ll see that once you got to the 5th deep inhale, you’ll feel a lot more calm.
Have you said or done anything nice lately?
One of the best ways to stimulate your well-being is to say or do something nice for somebody.

Even the simple gesture of holding the door for a stranger or sending a nice text to a friend will help you feel better.

Have you done something that you like?

Most of the times, we’re too busy with our lives, so we forget to enjoy ourselves. Life is meant to be lived, and that implies us doing something that we love.

Have you reflected on the things you’re grateful for?

Gratitude. It always wins when it comes to good vibes, and it will surely help you escape the negativity. All you have to do is reflect on a few things that you’re grateful for, and I guarantee you it will make you feel a lot better.

I've experienced many of the situations you've described above, but most tired I feel when I'm upset, this burns all my energy out.

This is my daily routine...wake up at 4 a.m everyday before go to work..help my children get ready for school..6.30 a.m send my kids to school and I go straight to my work place.. and at 1.20 p.m is time for me to fetch em back home...and as usual I go to work again after my lunch..and until 5.00 p.m...6.00 till 7.00 is where i'm fighting for the traffic hustle.. and reaching home feel like being in Heaven....thats a little tale to tell...lol and I felt so tired no matter what kind source of food for energy have been taken..I know I'm getting old..and thats why I always feel so tired...lol Thanks for a nice article.

Drinking water, eating nutritious food, taking deep breath, doing something i like and reflecting on things i am grateful for. Thanks for the educative summary...it's going to be very helpful to me since most of the times i feel lazy and tired.

And if all else fails - there's coffee lol Exercise is so important, the older I get the more I notice!

feeling tired is your inner sissy winning

creativity!

Every human being at least tired. it is part of life. Some people tired while doing nothing interesting.

Sometimes I forget the little things that will give me energy . I typically run low on energy all the time . Really need to change my lifestyle now

i am always half way tired got to work on that thanks for writing this post very useful to me

Well just to add on, daily monotonous routine also makes you tired. If you change your daily routine, get some time out for yourself. May be it will reduce your tiredness a little bit. Small things like may be just putting some flowers in room is refreshing. And yes, you rightly said gratitude is most important aspect. Regular prayers to GOD helps a lot

On the contrary tiredness can also be a reason for stress and sleep deprivation. Honestly there are lot of other negative reasons for tiredness, but my advice is be tired in night rather than the morning.

(Another one is, excessive masturbation)

excellent post ..loving to your blog.thanks for sharing..

i drink very less water may be that's the reason for my tiredness

that last point about gratitude really got to me. Just recently I started making a list every night about everything I was grateful for in the day and it is really changing my perspective about many daily issues I just to let get to me so easily.
