I have been sharing on how to eat food properly to stay healthy and strong. In case you missed the part one of the article, you can check my blog. In this part, I'll continue by briefly talking about another major food category that is essential when choosing what to eat.
Carbohydrates
They are among the major sources of energy to the body, however, you need to get them from complex and unrefined carbs such as fruits, whole grains as well as vegetables instead of refined carbs and sugars that have lost its fibre, bran and nutrients. In order to prevent sudden spikes in the level of blood sugar as well as the fluctuations in your mood and energy levels, you need to reduce the intake of sugar, pastries, white bread and starches. This will also help prevent the buildup of fat which is commonly found around the waistline.
As much as possible, endeavor to include at least a starchy food in any of your meals. Okay, I'm going to talk about useful tips that will help you eat food properly and stay strong in my next article so watch out.
