Chocolate improves memory

Research shows that eating chocolate regularly helps improve cognitive function of the brain. Chocolates are considered the "pharmacist" for patients with age-related cognitive decline.
According to a survey by the Australian University's "Recherche en Physiologie Nutritionnelle", it is "eaten once a week" that the brain will be "agile", while significantly improving concentration and memory.

According to Professor George Crichton should not be consumed more than 25-28 grams of chocola per day, 1-2 times a week and should choose good quality chocolate. However, chocolates that contain added sugar or preservatives are not good for the body, which can affect brain function, raise cholesterol, and the risk of cerebral palsy especially in sedentary people.

Black chocolate and milk chocolate help to protect and enhance cognitive function
According to the researchers, frequent consumption and moderation of chocolate will bring the following benefits:

Improved memory of space, time and directionality.

Significant improvement in working memory (both short and long term), faster data analysis and better information storage.

Scientists have found that Flavonol in chocolate increases the connection between brain cells. Chocolate consumption improves blood circulation especially in the brain. Small amounts of caffeine in chocolate help prevent high blood pressure. Cocoa contains oleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid that helps control and regulate bad cholesterol (LDL) and this is what we should be concerned about.

Good for fetal development
According to research from the University of Atlanta-USA shows that in black chocolate contains more antioxidants such as flavonol. If pregnant women consume 20 to 35 grams of black chocolate a day during pregnancy, the quality of the placenta is improved as well as the risk of preeclampsia (hypertension during pregnancy) is significantly reduced. This is something to be noted.

Chocolate helps prevent cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases
In chocolate contains many flavonoids and minerals such as magnesium to help protect the heart and brain. Researchers at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland conducted a 12-year study of the health status of more than 20,000 people. One group consumes 30-40 grams of chocolate a day, the other does not, and the last one consumes too much. The results show that regular people with chocolate in moderate amounts have good health especially cardiovascular and brain.

In summary, good health and good memory should combine both balanced and reasonable diet and exercise regimen, although chocolate is good for health but should not be abused. Enjoy the great benefits of chocolate but in moderation!
