You’ve been visited by @porters on behalf of Natural Medicine!

Good stuff to know! I'm guilty of not getting off the computer until just before bedtime for that is when I seem to find the time to get my stuff done there.
After you stated

One hour of phone/tablet use will delay the onset of melatonin production by about 3 hours

I think I will give myself a break and do some reading or something (off line) to see if that makes a difference. It's all about habits and changing them which isn't always that easy to do when they get so entrenched into us but I think changing my habits and getting a better nights sleep will be worth the effort!
Thanks for sharing!

It s a worry that doctors and truck drivers are forced to work when they should sleep

Right?! Two jobs where slight errors can cost someone's life, and the standard is for them to over-worked & under-slept... Seems like a great plan :-P

Wow! What a lot of information! I have SAD and sleep issues that I have worked on for years. I've ordered the book from the library. I had no idea how important sleep of 8 hrs was.

Wonderful! I haven't actually read the book yet myself, but I'm looking forward to it.

Hopefully there's some tools in there that will help you. Do you have a "happy light" as I've heard them called? Basically little lights you can sit in front of for 15 minutes a day to get those light rays & vitamin D that are in short supply during the darker months.

I actually got the book from the library and read the whole thing. Impressed enough to order my own copy.

I used to use a SAD light, but the Lyme disease made my light sensitivity much worse over time and I had to stop using it.
