Tasty like chocolate, but much healthier

in health •  6 years ago  (edited)

I am just eating my pancake with tahini and carob molasse. It is just so delicious. I just thought to remind everybody to try out carob molasse. I am using it in my almond milk for breakfast to sweeten it together with some dates; I put it on my bread together with tahini; I dip my apple pieces into a tahini carob molasse mixture; I add carob molasse when I am making ice cream or am baking a cake. I can go on to give examples.

Apart from tasting great (think sweet like chocolate with its distinct flavour), it is one of these most amazing healthy treats. The nutrient profile is out of this world, especially if you opt for cold pressed pure carob molasse.

Carobs are rich in in potassium, calcium, potassium, minerals, such as iron, magnesium, and manganese, and vitamins e.g. A, B6, Niacin, and D and Folic Acid, as well as powerful phenolic compounds.
