Bad posture can be the root cause of many illnesses that people dread the most. We are talking Alzheimer here, or equally destructive diseases like intestinal cancer, prostate cancer. Let's dive deeper into the subject and find out what are the missing links.
Your body is a miraculous machine
We have to start by addressing this crucial fact; our bodies are a miraculous machines and the default, most natural state of being is perfect health, period. I think we can all agree that our bodies are intelligent. They can regulate temperature, build new cells, control all of these various functions without us needing to consciously focus on them. If something is off balance, our bodies will do everything they can to go back to a balanced state. It is designed to handle literally everything, as long as it's in moderate amount. So no matter what toxins enter the body, they will always get obliterated.
The lies you have been told
Now that we know some facts about our bodies, let's examine some other facts.
- Each time you get sick, you take at least 1 pill, unless you educated yourself already.
- Each time someone gets a particular disease you are being prescribed a given set of pills, that are supposed to cure this disease. Side effects you cure with other pills, naturally.
The list goes on and on. We don't need to make it any longer. This should be enough. Now think.
Wouldn't it make sense to all of you then, that if our bodies are intelligent and can easily adapt to different environments, as well as multi task on a huge scale; wouldn't it make sense, that all diseases are the intelligent responses and adaptations of the body to the stimulus, just to give you a clue about what is going on so you can help correct it? Modern medicine says no. They kept feeding you with lies, that you need a different pill for a different condition. We KNOW, that a body can handle anything in moderate amount. That implies that disease is a constant exposure to unhealthy environment, or self-inflicted prolonged harm one way, or another.
Your posture matters a lot
Speaking of prolonged self-inflicted harm. Living a sedentary lifestyle is certainly not good for your health. Most of people make it even worse by not sitting correctly. Let's start by telling the truth:
Majority of chairs, or armchairs, or whatever it is you are sitting on are not ergonomical. Even if people say they are, they are not. And even if they were, you would most likely not sit the way you are supposed to. You would slide down, sit on your tailbone, cross your legs, and hunch your spine.
Here is what you MUST understand:
Your posture affects your spine, pelvis, neck, shoulders, and hips. Your spine is like a motherboard of nervous connections. Nerves that go along the spine are responsible for EVERY SINGLE FUNCTION OF YOUR BODY:
- your heart
- your lungs
- your motor functions
- your eyesight
- your bladder
Everytime you disrupt the signals your brain sends and receives to/from your organs, you are causing chaos in the nervous system and your organs won't function correctly.
Got a little bit dislocated pelvis? You can expect your bladder to not function well, forcing you to go to the toilet more often.
Is your head leaning forward, and your upper back hunching? You can have trouble breathing and focusing.
Every trauma in your spine can cause you to experience various diseases without the possibility of curability, because most doctors won't pay attention to your spine and give you pills instead!
90% of headaches are related to spine injuries and neck injuries. Having a bad posture can pinch certain nerves in your spine, causing sympathetic nervous system to activate. That is your fight or flight mode. It can seem as if you are stressed for no reason, you can't focus, and you are all over the place. It shuts down the blood flow to the gut, causing indigestion and intestinal problems. Everything is connected and working in a perfect symbiosis. You cannot cure a "dis ease" by looking only at one part of your body. Unfortunately, this is what modern doctors do nowadays. There is a lot more to it. I strongly encourage you to do your own research.
The healing process
Your spine naturally has 3 curves. Each one on each part of the spine:
- lumbar spine ( low back )
- thoracic spine ( middle back )
- cervical spine ( neck area )
Each of these curves must be maintained for your body to function properly. Your spine works like a spring. It absorbs the turbulences and splits the forces evenly so your body is not damaged in case of a rough landing, or gentle jumping. If your spine is straight without any of the curves, you will most likely develop spinal scoliosis during your lifetime. Exercise on each part of your spine to keep it healthy and curved properly. Walk as you should be walking, not on your toes, or heels. Try to have as much movement in your daily life, as possible. Park on the farthest places in parking lots. Learn to sit properly. Be conscious of your body. There is really nothing more you have to do, than staying active and eating healthy. The most important thing to remember is:
Whenever illness arises, check the foundation first, which is your skeleton.
I really encourage you all to take it a little bit more seriously, because im speaking from my own experience here, and the consequences might be drastic. Dry eyes, indigestion, bloatiness, shivering, inability to focus, inability to sleep etc.
Stay conscious, stay healthy, and develop healthy habits.
