Stress is defined as any change in the environment that causes your body to respond and adjust. Physical, mental, and emotional reactions are elicited by the body in response to these changes.

Stress is an unavoidable aspect of life. Many events that happen to you and around you, as well as many things you do, create stress on your body. Stress may come from your surroundings, your body, or your thoughts, and it can be healthy or unpleasant.@power @health

What Effects Does Stress Have on Health?
The human body is built to experience and respond to stress. Positive ("eustress") stress, such as receiving a work promotion or being given more tasks, keeps us attentive and ready to avert danger. When a person experiences continual trials with no reprieve or relaxation in between, stress becomes negative ("distress"). As a result, the individual becomes overworked and suffers from stress-related discomfort.
Physical signs of stress include headaches, upset stomach, high blood pressure, chest discomfort, and difficulty sleeping. According to research, stress can also cause or aggravate certain symptoms or diseases.

When individuals use alcohol, cigarettes, or narcotics to attempt to ease their stress, it becomes hazardous. Unfortunately, rather of reducing stress and restoring the body to a calm state, these chemicals tend to keep the body agitated and produce more difficulties. Take into account the following:

Stress has a negative impact on the health of 43% of all individuals.
Stress-related disorders and complaints account for 75% to 90% of all doctor's office visits.
Headaches, high blood pressure, heart issues, diabetes, skin disorders, asthma, arthritis, depression, and anxiety can all be exacerbated by stress.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has deemed stress a workplace danger. Stress costs the American economy more than it saves.
