Not too long ago the FDA announced how it would implement quite strict regulations on the electronic cigarette industry. This was at the peak of my e-cig use while getting my friends e-cigs because of fact I could run up a flight of stairs without running out of breath while replacing the foul odor of 3rd hand smoke with something far more pleasant. Today the FDA announced it changed its mind and will loosen up these regulations. To me, this is a great relief even without the long term, rigorous, research that is needed to come to a definitive conclusion on the harms or lack there of on e-cig use.
Anecdotally, the stabbing sensation in my lungs went away, I stopped coughing up blood, and was no longer winded every time I wanted to jog or even do a minuscule amount of exercise. I also recently just naturally stopped using e-cigs all together thanks to being able to cut down my nicotine to 0mg; although I can see myself picking up a vape in rare, special occasions.
Today's news was great for most, and the fact more research is being held is also great in terms of educating us on these devices.
