Physical Fitness - Get Yourself Back On Track, Phase 1

A successful goal is all about patience, persistence, and pacing. It's about self-discipline. self-control, and personal commitment. Most of all, it's about feeling good about yourself. This is realistic life-changing process-for life!

Be it a little or a lot. the key ingredient is to get moving and the more the better.
Have you ever started a diet or a fitness program and then failed to "stick with it"? Do you remember if your level of motivation was the strongest just before you started, slightly less when you actually began, and then non-existent once the novelty wore off? This happens to a lot of people, and if ever it happens to you there's a good chance that your mental and emotional framework going into it was all wrong, as it is for the majority of people who attempt to lose weight. The bottom line is if you want results and you want them to last, you probably need to change the way you think.

The way you think will ultimately dictate your long-term success or failure.

Goals for Phase 1

  • Explore your beliefs, attitudes, and behavior that relate to yourself and the process of change.

  • Learn about the process of how you gain weight.

  • Make a personal pledge to yourself that you will get along until you achieve your goal of success.

  • Start drinking a minimum o6 ounce glasses of water each day

  • Start improving your functional fitness by moving more and performing some basic exercises.

  • Prepare yourself for a lifetime of being healthy and fit.

Here are some questions, answer it by "yes" or "no". Each question corresponds to a specific attitude, trait, belief, or behavior that may affect your level of motivation to move forward.

  • Do you believe that if you reach a certain size you'll be happy?

  • Do you frequently look for a shortcut or an easier way to achieve what you want?

  • Do you frequently use excuses to get yourself out of doing what it takes to reach your goal?

  • Are you often impatient with slow results?

  • .Do you ever consider giving up when you experience minor setbacks?

  • Do you often procrastinate?

  • Are you afraid of change?

  • so you typically choose immediate gratification overreaching your long-term goals?

  • Do you ever use family, relationship, or work obligations as an excuse not to take care of yourself?

  • Are you afraid of disappointing others?

  • So you ever blem something or someone else for your inability to change your goals?

  • Do you ever feel that you don't deserve the happy or successful?

These twelve questions are to identify potential attitudes, traits, and behaviors that can hold you back from achieving health and well-being.Plan the best course of action and combine it with aggressive program of caring for yourself
Each time you answered yes to the above questions, you've raised a little red flag. It may signal that your mindset may not be optimal for long-term weight loss success or that you have unrealistic expectations about what that success entails. Most people are affected by at least one or more of these issues, so if you are, don't feel like you are alone. Try to accomplish the issues that negatively affect you and that will need future work and attention on your part.

This is exactly what this is all about -- gradual progress toward positive change.

Excellent article, I wish my upvote was worth more, you deserve it. Anyways, many of us (including me) struggle with their weight. In this article you asked some worth-thinking questions that can unveil the real problem, not just obesity-related issues, but phsycological beliefs that got installed early in our lives. Although this "beliefs" are not always concious, they can cause a lot of harm in our lives, interfering in our goals, decisions, projects, self-steem and overall health.
I thank you as a member of the medical community for bringing awareness to all of us :)
