Hello Steemians! Like I promised here I brought the quality content about health as I am a medical student.
We are going to see the major problem that mankind faces nowadays...Diseases. In that we are more concerned about one thing. **Diabetes**
What diabetes mean?
Diabetes means passing more urine.
what are the types of it?
Two types are there..

In this we are more concerned about the type 1 as it is the most prevalent and dangerous one...
Diabetes Mellitus
Diabetes mellitus is actually is not a disease.
It is a metabolic disorder due to various reasons. Mellitus means sweet. Passing of sugar containing urine.
It is characterised by increased glucose levels that result in the excretion of the excess in the urine since all food we eat broken to glucose only...
Causes
1.Through genetic trait. ( from father/mother)
2.Too much of sugar intake
3.Lifestyle changes
4. Hormonal changes
Conditions happening in it
1.polyurea - more urine passing
2.polyphagia - eating more food
3.polydipsia - more thirst
What are the hormones involving in it?
There are 2 hormones which are causes for diabetes & low glucose
1.Insulin
2.Glucagon
In this two , Insulin reduces glucose and Prevents Diabetes . Glucagon Increases glucose and causes Diabetes.
What are the types of Diabetes mellitus
This Diabetes mellitus itself divided into 2 types.
1.Type 1 Insulin dependent
2.type 2 non insulin dependent
**Type 1 - Insulin dependent **
Due to less secretion of insulin, this diabetes occurs. Only 5% of all diabetes in world have this. People can be treated with insulin tablets and injections (one that any of your family may put)
Type 2-Non insulin dependent
In This insulin secretion is correct. But the cells won't respond to it. 95% of diabetes is this one only. Here insulin injections have no effect. This occurs in old people only.
