While working for a family-run apothecary and essential oil business, designing and implementing a permaculture and agroforestry project on their land, I was able to learn many other things. The soap maker at the apothecary taught me his favorite recipe that he perfected after 30 years in the craft. For a few months I was the in-house soap maker, after having assisted in many pours prior.
Although his soap is truly remarkable on its own, I had to add a healing touch ;-)
As of now I make 6 varieties (cedar wood, rosemary, lavender, tea tree, clove- each one is made with the pure essential oil and the actual plant). Every bar is made with a pure olive oil and coconut oil base with pure undiluted glycerin for an extraordinary lather and clean <3 . Each bar also contains a blend of 14 medicinal mushrooms and wild harvested sea vegetable for a unique, healing rejuvenating wash that will leave you and your skin nourished and restored :-)
Enjoy this exquisite labor of love- these special suds are to other soaps what bitcoin is to fiat ;-)

Here are some fun process pics, starting with premixing the coconut oil and olive oil for the lye solution =D
the lye solution has to be just right for the all of the fats in a cold-processed recipe to saponify properly...
Have your secret ingredients, essential oils and herbs ready- once you pour the lye solution, there is no turning back :-)
now for the special sauce add-ins...
once it is at the right consistency it is ready for the molds...
after they cure in the molds they are ready to come out and cure a bit more before cutting...
time to slice-and-dice and cure again after cutting...makes thrice =P
