Genetically modified organism and cross breeding? Which one is going on EXTINCTION soon.
Genetically modified organisms by genetical alteration of the organism gene to produce a super organism which is a suitable organism of choice. Now the question is, if modification of animals is giving the desired taste to the community does it mean that cross breeding is going extinct?
Crops breeding has mostly been used locally to get variety of species like cross breeding different specie of animals to get a higher breed.
During my industrial training I was able to have a first hand look on modification of fish to produce specific types by the use of some rays to produce gynogens female modified fish and androgen modified fish.
An array of GMOs have been produced over time but such organisms produced are still under scrutiny due to fear of contamination during consumption.
But cross breeding which is a safer method of getter a specified though not accurate breed of animals seem to be the safest method.
Many questions has been drawn over the years especially GMOs due to fear and cross breeding seem to have some little downsides which cannot be overlooked.
The debate between Genetically modified organisms and hybrids from cross breeding is a battle which might not finish anytime soon.
