Why do we sometimes look at something and forget that we are talking to someone and even with a theme?

Once it has happened to you, you are talking to someone and suddenly you forget that you are talking, your minds somehow get blocked or remain blank, in this post I will talk about that.

This reaction of "Blockage" usually occurs in moments of stress, whether it is emotional or very stressful. Suddenly you are doing something, talking or working and you are blocked, or you can also present yourself in times of concern, in an exhibition, a conference, an interview, and similar situations.

Can you imagine that it happens in the middle of a job interview, or even worse, in full support of your thesis? It would be something very sad, to die for! you would stay like this

What can I do in these situations?

Something important, and it will be very useful is to calm down and take it lightly, that is, not to give it much importance. The best way to avoid it is to change what you forgot with anything else, to say it so seriously, so you will believe that what you are talking about is true, and you can avoid making the situation happen. Or as Dr. Diaz-Rubio explains in his book: "The symptoms we all suffer":

"Experienced people know how to get by, either through dissertation leaks or by distracting the public's attention with an anecdote or any way to prevent those present from realizing it"

There is a hormone responsible for these situations, called corticosterone, and is released in times of tension, anxiety or fear, thus affecting the hippocampus (the part of the brain fundamental to remember), the amygdala (responsible for emotions) and the cortex superior (related to the recovery of memories).

If you suffer constantly from these blocks we recommend you to learn relaxation techniques that allow you to feel calmer, another solution may be to dedicate yourself to exercise.

and another important thing, According to Dr. Manuel Díaz-Rubio, honorary president of the Royal Academy of Medicine "Staying blank is something that can happen to anyone and should be considered normal, unless it occurs with great frequency," and This is how he explains it in his recently published book, which he already named, but if you did not read it here, I'll leave it with you, it's called "The symptoms we all suffer".

I always say goodbye in this way: These are the laws of Maikel today, with nothing more to say, I say goodbye, with love Maikell Peña, but this time I say goodbye in this way, Good afternoon xD
