Dear Steemians, dear followers and dear friends,

Albert Einstein once said: "Insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results."
Albert Einstein is a German physicist and for me one of the greatest pioneers in history who has done a lot for modern physics. The above quote just catched me and made me wonderfully thoughtful. I feel the same way with Mark Twain's quotation: "Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect."
Everything is in motion. Everything is change. Figuratively, like the water. It looks for the way around the stones and then arrives exactly where it wants to go. And that's the way you should see it and not just do the same thing over and over again. It is simply far too blunt to adopt the blueprint or the template of other people 1 to 1. This just won't work. So think a little around the corner and go your own path. Just do what no one else does. That's it. The best example is Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was the best bodybuilder in the world, then a successful investor and entrepreneur and has had a grand policy career. For me he is a person who inspires, constantly reinvents himself and goes unknown ways. Whether you like him or not.
** But let's get down to business....**
I think that what we really need to do is often what we would most like to avoid. Because if we're not after what we really want, we're never gonna get it. If we don't ask the right questions, we always get the wrong answers. If we do not take a step forward, we will always stand in the same place.
Life is a journey that consists of small steps. The key is to take these steps every day.
We already know all that, don't we?
But how often are we in a cycle of worries, fear and other forms of reconsideration? How often are we distracted aimlessly? And how often do we hesitate?
After working consistently on my habits, I have become quite good at doing things with minimal distraction and delay.
But there is a special habit many of us have to struggle with. That's something we all do that wastes our lives in the end, one precious moment at a time. The word "waste" may sound exaggeratedly dramatic, but it is not.
We're wasting our lives on a lack of self-discipline.
Self-discipline is an ability. It is the ability to focus and overcome distractions. It usually requires immediate pleasure and excitement to sacrifice for what is most important in life.
For most of us, a lack of self-discipline is often the result of a lack of concentration. In other words, we tell ourselves we will work on something, but we do not. Am I hesitating for some reason? Am I distracted? But instead of telling myself that I am "bad" or "undisciplined," I try to productively uncover a more specific, solvable problem and then tackle it.
But....
What do you do when your life is completely confused? You have hardly any self-discipline or consistent routines, can't hold on to anything, constantly hesitate and feel completely out of control?
How do you start building a healthy ritual of self-discipline when you have to make so many changes?
You start small. Very small.
Take one step at a time, and you begin to build a healthy ritual of self-discipline, and then finally know that you are able to do what needs to be done and finish what you started.
So, go on and be happy.
In love @malumaa
Very well said. It's important that we find our path and build up the will to stay in our lane, which is pretty hard if we are honest, especially at the initial stage when things have not started to materialize, but it's important we know what we want and stick to it no matter the odds.
However, it's important to know when its time to move on. Some people don't know how or when. You talked about Schwarzenegger, he knew when to make that career shift and it worked for him.
