Chronic kidney disease (CKD) affects the physical, psychological and social well-being of the child, so it is important that the medical attention groups not only dedicate themselves to treating the disease but also that emotional, spiritual and social support groups are created give joy to these children so that their suffering is perceived to a lesser degree.
This photo that I show you of this child named jose, who with only 9 years of age had kidney failure we did hemodialysis in the nephrology service where I work and his life changed until his unfortunate death complicated with a respiratory infection.
In the nephrology service where I work in Venezuela, Ciudad Bolivar we have a high incidence of income of children with this disease and we form an association called friends of the kidney and we take care of giving moments of joy to these children as I show in photos and videos recorded in the hospital.
