I feel like starting with 2 huge glasses of water gets you in the routine of drinking more throughout the day. I always drink a gallon or more a day. So much that my stomach always sloshes audibly when I jump around. My sisters make fun of my forever sloshy tummy. Now I add a spoonful of apple cider vinegar to a few glasses per day...Sour water as my 2 year old call it. Hahaha! :)

That's good though! Better to have a sloshy tummy than to have dry skin. You should teach your son the same habit :)
