The White Lilies In My Garden - They Can Be Used For Cooking And Can Cure Body Disorders !!!

Hello to all Steemians!

The scent of its flowers were enorm, I could smell its amazing odor and I would say it is intoxicating... which made me have a runny nose today because I am allergic to any strong scented flowers. The scent of the white lilies are just like the scent of the hyacinth flowers. And I had to put them away into the living room to spread the scent in the room. Some of them I have gathered from neighbors could be toxic for cats! I just have to stay away and do not come too close to the vase, otherwise I might faint, LOL!!!

WHITE LILY

I planted its bulbs early Spring in two containers... While visiting the top terrace this morning, I smell some good scent not knowing where it came from.. I found out that the scent is from the 2 white lilies that have opened completely. It is amazing because I never had lilies that are so aromatic. I planted some other varieties before that were perennials and it grew many years even if they were just planted in hollow blocks. They were of various colors, but this white short variety is my first time.

HEALTH BENEFITS

They grow throughout Western Asia as well as in the Mediterranean regions. Many gardeners prefer to have them in the garden since they represent beautiful and aromatic clusters of flowers. All parts of the white lily, the petals, the flowers and the roots have herbaceous quality that also have health benefits which could cure many body disorders externally and internally. I have also gathered that the flowers can also be used for cooking. Lilies are cultivated in mostly chinese , korean and japanese regions because of its bulbs where the bulbs particularly of the white lilies are cut and is the main ingredients for sauteé food stuff . Oh my (!!!) there are so many therapeutic uses of all parts of this plant... like the flowers can cure pain caused by blisters , cuts and the like. The flowers are also effective as blood cleanser and purifier while the bulb is a good and effective remedy for some respiratory disorders like asthma, sinusitis and bronchitis.
