I survived leg day today! Always an awesome accomplishment. So far I've done 7 weeks of this program, FastPhysique by JillFit.com and I only have 1 more leg day until my vacation! This program has been challenging but fun!
Today's mental theme to get through the workout was WORK HARDER! Work harder at everything you do. This mantra got me through this workout when I was ready to give up. Instead, I worked harder! You can work harder too, just keep repeating it to yourself when you're ready to give up. Challenge yourself in all you do. You can work harder too!
The video below consists of the following:
- 10 minutes of HIIT on the stairs (40 sec intervals)
- Smith Machine Lunges
(pyramiding reps down and weight up) (65lbsx12; 85lbsx9; 105lbsx6; 125lbsx3; 65lbsx12) - 4 sets and 10 reps of the following:
Lunge/Squat/Lunge
Single Leg Bench Squat
Bench Hops - 5 minute burnout on the leg curl machine
