Week 1 Fat Loss Update

Well it was a busy week at work and I have not had time to post any updates. Since I just finished 7 days in a row for work I have a short work week coming up, so I will post more updates this week.

As far as progress this week it was small, but still progress none the less. The road to lasting fat loss is slow and steady, and I am also trying to reserve as much muscle mass as possible, so doing too much too quickly is a fast way to lose muscle mass.

Below is my weight and body fat percentage for the past week. I only stepped on the scale a few times last week, so I only have a few data points, but still gives an idea of where I am starting from. Now the interesting thing you will notice from the image below is that my weight went up slightly last week, but my body fat percentage went down slightly. as far as weight goes I am not concerned with the number from day to day or even week to week, because there are so many variables that can affect weight. As long as the long term trend for my weight is a downward one then I am happy. The real statistic that I am interested in is my body fat percentage and that is going down, so progress!

Stay tunned this week for updated progress pics and more detail statistics. I also plan on tracking food intake and logging diet on here also, in the hopes of giving people an idea of my food consumption.
