Why I Decided To Go Natural...

I recently cut my hair which has been on the transition stage for 12months now. That is, i didn't relax it all those times.
I had a long full relaxed hair before embarking on this natural hair journey but, i was inspired by my mum and some friends and i realized going natural is important and better.
So i made up my mind and this is what i have realized.

With more women going natural, this industry will grow and entrepreneurs in this field will keep advancing financially and will continue to carve a niche for themselves.

2.Natural Hair Is More Economical
Being on natural hair is cheaper to take care of than relaxed hair, you don't have to worry about money to buy relaxer or if your hair is due to be relaxed. You save more.

Being on one's natural hair protects women from all the chemicals in relaxer which is not healthy for the hair scalp and the respiratory system and the general wellbeing of the woman.

4.Natural Hair Is Versatile To Style
Most people don't actually believe this but its the truth. As the natural hair grows, styling becomes easier and
different styling can be achieved.

5.Natural Hair Is Healthier
is beautiful,fuller, curlier, more nutrient rich than relaxed hair, it breaks less,has more moisture and shine than relaxed hair which is what makes up a healthy hair.

6.It Changes The Negative Stigma That Natural Black Hair Is Not Beautiful Or Can't Be Managed
Black Women can change this negative narrative by embracing self acceptance that their natural hair is beautiful and that it can be rocked and it is enough rather than what the White's think about our hair.
