Studies and doctors say average daily steps should be 10,000 to avoid chronic diseases and live long life. Check it out, you will be surprised to notice how low your results will be.

The goal of this post is to draw your attention to the fact that : Our body was designed to move, if there is not enough motion, all our system (including the mind) cannot function efficiently.

Even a 10 minutes walk could bring you 1000 steps, walking barefoot is a must to get fully charged by the electrons in the earth and strengthening your immune system.

Beside keeping the doctor away, walking daily will bring you a lot of benefits like :

  • Lowered blood pressure and sugar level
  • Reducing risk of stroke by 20-40%
  • improving your mood and creativity
  • strengthening your digestive system
  • and a lot more benefits....

  • Western Australia : 7400
  • Japan : 7168 steps
  • Germany : 6337
  • France : 6330 steps
  • Germany: 6337 steps
  • United States : 5815 steps

The best time for a walk should be just after a meal, a 15-20 minutes walk will add 2000 steps to your daily count, and help digestion not mentioning that the fact that it's an excellent social activity.

In Thailand, because of the heat, and the easiness of catching/using a motorbike the average daily steps is lower than 5000, and you, what about your habits ?

Excellent post dear friend @olisan, are a tendency to gain weight, although now I have been walking for some time, I walked twice a day, more than ten kilometers x day and now I can see the difference, thank you very much for having this information
