Make sure to check out my last post, about the benefits of cold showers, before reading this: https://steemit.com/health/@liifeofo/why-you-should-take-cold-showers
If you are not used to take a shower with cold water, you will not be thrilled at the beginning. To profit from these many benefits, I recommend willpower and frequent training.
- First you can start with lukewarm water, then after time to time the temperature should be slowly reduced, so that the change is not so brusque.
- After a few days, the temperature can be changed from lukewarm to cold, because the body is slowly getting used to it.
- It is important to maintain this good habit in winter, too, although it may cost you a bit more to overcome. However, you shouldn't shiver from the cold. If this is the case, then it is better to use lukewarm water.
These are pretty much the steps I recommend you, if you want to start taking cold showers, but haven't been able to get into it yet. Yes, it takes a lot of courage and overcome to do, especially now in winter, but I promise you, once you get used to it, it will be much easier and you can profit from the awesome benefits :)
